ScoreBig!

Have you heard of ScoreBig?  This is an awesome site that helps me stretch my dollars further and HAVE FUN!!!  Did you know that close to 40% of live event tickets go unsold every year!! Well, those ‘sold out’ events actually have spare tickets that they save for whatever reason. Closer to event time ScoreBig gets these tickets to sell. ScoreBig passes along huge savings too!! SWEEEET!!!

Enter your city or zipcode to find events in your area. Traveling?? I would HIGHLY recommend starting here!!

ScoreBig is super easy to use, first you find the event or attraction you want to see.  Next find the seating you want.

All that’s left is make a bid or pay the price listed!! Even without bidding I was thrilled with the price! The selection is awesome!

I am so excited!! I’ve lived in Southern California now for close to 34 years, I am embarrassed by the amount of places in San Diego alone that I haven’t seen. I found tickets to Old Town Trolley Tour!! Check this out, fully narrated tour of San Diego.

From The Harbor to Coronado, from San Diego Zoo to Little Italy!! I’ve never been to Little Italy!! I KNOW!!!!! Someone who adores all things Italian!? There are 11 stops on this tour that you can disembark and walk around, shop, eat and just explore! SO excited.

It was hard to decide between Trolley Tour and the Seal Tour! I know…. I know… I haven’t done a seal tour either, but, I will!!

We had every intention of using our ticket’s today, but, life is always full of surprises! So, next Friday. I’ll will post a ton of pictures. (I know… you’re shocked! Right?!?!) So be sure to check back next weekend for all of those pictures and details on the tour!

ScoreBig has everything, football, basketball, baseball, hockey too! Sight seeing to musical events, btw, Lady Gaga Fans there are still seats available for the ARTPOP Ball in San Diego. Broadway shows! Theater too.

The entire process was super easy! I made my bid, within minutes I had a confirmation that my bid was accepted and the tickets were mine.  I received an email confirmation.  My tickets were then Fedex’d to me. My tickets arrived in 2 business days.

My tickets have all the time information, details I need to have a great time!! I am so excited!!  I see lasagna in my future.  I see some serious shopping in Old Town and Seaport Village.  Most of all I see ONE MILLLLLION (I’m channeling my Doctor Evil here…..) pictures in your my future. Mawhaaaa haaa haaaa

I’d love to know what you think of ScoreBig and what attraction or game you would pick!!

Refreshing My Old Blog Posts: The Good, The Bad, and The 404s

Updating an old blog post is a lot like an archaeological dig. You head in expecting a quick “dusting” of the archives and end up unearthing a series of questionable life choices from 2014. From over-filtered photos to advice that didn’t age quite as well as a fine cheddar, the past can be… loud.

I recently opened a “quick update” on an old favorite, only to find a digital wasteland:

  • Missing Images: Key tutorial steps that now require “extreme imagination” because the hosting site vanished.
  • The Dead Link Graveyard: Half my former brand partners have apparently rebranded as “AI Crypto Collectives” or simply ceased to exist.
  • Antique Fonts: We’re talking styles that haven’t been cool since the dial-up era and look like they belong on a Geocities fan page.

Why I’m Optimizing This Blog

It’s not just about vanity; it’s about SEO survival. While I might be cringing at my old writing style, fixing broken links and updating keywords is like whispering “Pick me!” directly into Google’s ear.

When I refresh this content, the site runs faster, the “404 Not Found” errors disappear, and the search engine gods are finally appeased. I’m not spiraling into a mid-blog crisis; I’m just clearing out the blog ghosts to make room for new traffic.

How I Am Giving My Content a Facelift

I’m sitting on a mountain of old posts, here is the “Peanut Butter and Whine” guide to a quick refresh:

  1. Killing the 404s: I’m using a plugin to find dead links and point them somewhere useful.
  2. Update the “Now”: If I mentioned a product from five years ago, I’m trying to swap it for the 2026 version.
  3. Spruce up the Metadata: Making sure my Focus Keyword (like “blog”) is in the headers and the first paragraph.

While You’re Here…

Don’t let your visit be a “one and done!” Since I’m already tidying up the place, why not stay a while?

  • Win Big: Check out the sidebar for my current giveaway—I promise this one is actually alive and kicking!
  • Earn Cash: Some things never go out of style. Rakuten still pays you to shop, and in this economy, why wouldn’t you take the free money?
