Adorable Children’s Book!! Meet Arlo! GIVEAWAY!!!

One thing that I always made sure my kids had for Christmas was books!! I wanted them to grow up with a love of reading. NOW, I’m continuing this tradition for the Grandkids. I LOVE that all three of the G’kids will stop what they are doing for a cuddle time; well, as long as there is a book being read that is. Seriously! How come kids outgrow cuddle time so dang quick?!?!? It’s okay, I’ll read ’em a book if I can hold ’em on my lap! ANYTIME!!

I love reading fun books to them. I adore reading fun book, with a message and great illustrations. I found that in this set of books from Early Ink Press; this is an absolutely adorable set of ARLO books. These are expertly written, with heart and soul. Already a much requested book.

Arlo and the Airplane

Super cute book about what it’s like to fly in an airplane. WOW I wish I had this last month before our Hawaii trip. Alice had so many questions about being on an airplane, this book would have answered all of them. This is a perfect book to have before you fly home to Grandma’s for Christmas! Absolutely adorable book!!

Arlo and the Airplane was recently named a Finalist in the 2013 International Book Awards in the category of Children’s Picture Book: Softcover Fiction and the winner of the Children’s Easy Reader category in the 2013 Indie Excellence Awards.

Arlo Goes to the Dentist

This was Karisa Lowe’s first children’s book. Arlo takes his first trip to the dentist. This book is AWESOME!! We have been reading this one daily because Alice is getting ready for her regular check up. This will take so much of the mystery and scare factor out of this trip. Arlo Goes To The Dentist couldn’t have arrived at a better time.

Arlo Goes to the Dentist gained immediate attention by winning Gold in the Children’s and Parenting Categories of the 2011 Independent Book Awards. Later becoming a Finalist in the 2012 USA Best Book Awards. Most recently, Arlo Goes to the Dentist received an Honorable Mention in the Children’s Category at the 2013 San Francisco Book Festival and was also a Finalist in the 2013 International Book Awards in the category of Children’s Picture Book: Softcover Fiction.

Arlo Goes to the Farmers Market

The newest addition to the Arlo series, Arlo Goes to the Farmers Market, was released in January 2014. This book might just be my favorite of the three. In this book Arlo learns the importance of eating fruits and vegetables. Arlo is teaching Alice to be excited about fruits and vegetables. I love that!! I want the Grandkids to grow up eating healthy! Arlo is a great roll model.

Arlo Goes to the Farmers Market has already won Honorable Mention in the Children’s Category in the 2014 Los Angeles Book Festival.

Written by Karisa Lowe and beautifully illustrated by Edmund Boey. This set will be a wonderful addition to any families library.

Each of the 3 books are 44 pages long. Filled with excellent illustrations. Each story is a fun adventure for kids and adults alike. The lessons in each of these stories makes it easy to see why each book has received so many awards!! Arlo definitely get’s 8 Thumbs Up from our crew. We LOVE this little elephant; Arlo!!
