VonShef Slow Masticating Single Auger Juicer Review
Check out the VonShef Slow Masticating Juicer Extractor. I’ve had juicers before, I’ve never had a juicer produce THIS much juice before. WOW!! The first day we made juice I washed and prepared my normal amount of fruit and veggies. WAY, WAY, WAY too much!! WOW!!
This is a great looking juicer. First, the juicer goes together easily and quickly. We leave our juicer out on the counter for daily juicing.
Alice LOVE’s getting to help! What a fantastic way to get a 3-year-old to get lots of fruits and veggies. The juicer has a long chute so I don’t stress about my helpers fingers! I would say that 99% of the time I don’t even have to use the plunger to push fruit’s and veggies down.
I love the fact that this juicer uses a low-speed extraction method, I’m getting all of my nutrients and enzymes and every single drop of juice!!
The juicer is easy to put together, there are only 4 main parts that fit securely into place. Add the lid and twist until it’s locked and your ready for juice. Drop fruits, veggies and greens down the chute. There are two collection bins included and designed to hug the juicer, they are not attached to the juicer so you can store them away for more counter space. The juice and pulp separate into different collection bins. It’s amazing at how dry the pulp comes out. Again, WOW!! I suggest moving the pulp bin a little further away from the machine because the pulp comes out in a straight chunk and will overshoot the catch container.
Alice is always game to try to mix new items together. We’ve experimented with everything from avocado to greens, apples to grapes, ginger to watermelon. We are having so much fun designing our drinks. Even trips to the grocery store are more fun, because Alice wants to try something new every time! I don’t peel or core anything. I just cut and juice. I even put the orange peel in. I haven’t had any seeds or peel in my juice. Just perfect healthy JUICE!!
Cleanup is easy as long as you do it right away! The VonShef Slow Masticating Juicer comes with a little brush to help you get ground fruits and veggies out of the mesh strainer. The brush also has a little “pick” on the end, which helps grab any little bits of pulp that get stuck. As long as you rinse right away almost all of the juice and pulp rinses off easily, and some of the thicker pulp comes off with the brush.
This juicer is super quiet which is perfect for me since I like to make juice before Alice wakes up!
Note! The instruction booklet says to align the red dots. You’ll actually be looking for a red and white dot. (or you’ll spend forever, in all different light, trying to find that other red dot!)
WHINES
NOT a single one!! I found the juicer easy to assemble. Quiet to run. More juice from fruits and veggies than I ever thought possible. Cleaning is easy as long as you do it right away! The design is solid all the way to the suction cups on the base to keep your juicer in place. This is an AWESOME MACHINE!!! Come over! Bring fruit. I’ll Alice will show you, I’m not allowed; I was told today that NaNa doesn’t do it right and it’s her job!

Very interesting, thanks…Usually cheap slow juicers are total cr*p, but your experience suggest otherwise. Does it have self-cleaning feature?

Approve! <3 Good for our health!

Oh my gosh, that’s the exact salad mix we buy from Costco! We bought an Omega slow-masticating juicer and while we’ve attempted juicing several times.. we’re not very good at sticking with it. I wish it was healthy to just juice fruits.. 🙂

I thinkVonShef Slow Masticating Single Auger Juicer is one of the best of several juicer in the market, and one of the juicer that has the same capability is Breville BJE200XL Juice Fountain Compact

I love juicing. I wish I had one, I really miss mine. It is so much healthier for you, and you know what went into what you are drinking. I sneak vegies in cakes and deserts, so my family does not know they are getting vegies and desert. I just say I added some applesauce, and I do , but that is not all.

That seems like a great product. I like how easy it is to assemble.

This IS a nice looking juicer! I love that clean up is easy. That is one of the most important features I look for when purchasing a juicer.

I’ve never used a juicer. I prefer to eat my fruit raw and fresh.

I’d rather use my VitaMix and get all the fiber as well as the juices.

I’d love to own a juicer. This sounds like a good one. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, this sounds great. I really love the idea that it separates the juice from the pulp.

A juicer that really separates the peel, etc., from the juice would certainly be welcome! It looks like a winner.

My Mom had a juicer when we were growing up. There’s nothing better than fresh juice!

What a terrific way to get children to eat their veggies! I love smoothies & homemade soups but my blender has given up the ghost.

I love making green smoothies, and people asked me all the time why I don’t have a juicer, and that was a good question..

A juicer that is super quiet sounds good to me. I’d be really interest in juicing apples and oranges.

This sounds awesome! My husbands parents do fresh tomato juice, this makes me want to start!

It sounds great. I love the idea that it really seperates the juice from the pulp, etc. I don’t like a lot of ‘bits’ in my juice!
Rosie
Wow this juicer has caught my attention for sure! I don’t have a juicer, but have been considering getting one. I didn’t know if the slow masticating was a gimmick or what, but now I know it is for real. Great!!!
