VonShef Slow Masticating Single Auger Juicer Review

Check out the VonShef Slow Masticating Juicer Extractor. I’ve had juicers before, I’ve never had a juicer produce THIS much juice before. WOW!! The first day we made juice I washed and prepared my normal amount of fruit and veggies. WAY, WAY, WAY too much!! WOW!!

This is a great looking juicer. First, the juicer goes together easily and quickly. We leave our juicer out on the counter for daily juicing.

Alice LOVE’s getting to help! What a fantastic way to get a 3-year-old to get lots of fruits and veggies. The juicer has a long chute so I don’t stress about my helpers fingers! I would say that 99% of the time I don’t even have to use the plunger to push fruits and veggies down.

I love the fact that this juicer uses a low-speed extraction method, I’m getting all of my nutrients and enzymes and every single drop of juice!!

The juicer is easy to put together, there are only 4 main parts that fit securely into place. Add the lid and twist until it’s locked and your ready for juice. Drop fruits, veggies and greens down the chute.

There are two collection bins included and designed to hug the juicer, they are not attached to the juicer so you can store them away for more counter space. The juice and pulp separate into different collection bins. It’s amazing at how dry the pulp comes out. Again, WOW!!

I suggest moving the pulp bin a little further away from the machine because the pulp comes out in a straight chunk and will overshoot the catch container.

Alice is always game to try to mix new items together. We’ve experimented with everything from avocado to greens, apples to grapes, ginger to watermelon.

We are having so much fun designing our drinks. Even trips to the grocery store are more fun, because Alice wants to try something new every time!

I don’t peel or core anything. I just cut and juice. I even put the orange peel in. I haven’t had any seeds or peel in my juice. Just perfect healthy JUICE!!

Cleanup is easy as long as you do it right away!  The VonShef Slow Masticating Juicer comes with a little brush to help you get ground fruits and veggies out of the mesh strainer.

The brush also has a little “pick” on the end, which helps grab any little bits of pulp that get stuck.  As long as you rinse right away almost all of the juice and pulp rinses off easily, and some of the thicker pulp comes off with the brush.

This juicer is super quiet which is perfect for me since I like to make juice before Alice wakes up!

Note! The instruction booklet says to align the red dots. You’ll actually be looking for a red and white dot. (or you’ll spend forever, in all different light, trying to find that other red dot!)

WHINES

NOT a single one!! I found the juicer easy to assemble. Quiet to run. More juice from fruits and veggies than I ever thought possible. Cleaning is easy as long as you do it right away!

The design is solid all the way to the suction cups on the base to keep your juicer in place. This is an AWESOME MACHINE!!! Come over! Bring fruit. I’ll Alice will show you, I’m not allowed; I was told today that NaNa doesn’t do it right and it’s her job!

Refreshing My Old Blog Posts: The Good, The Bad, and The 404s

Updating an old blog post is a lot like an archaeological dig. You expect a quick “dusting” and end up unearthing a series of questionable life choices from 2014.

I recently opened a “quick update” only to find:

  • Missing Images: Key tutorial steps now require “imagination.”
  • Dead Links: Half my brand partners have rebranded as “AI Crypto Collectives.”
  • Antique Fonts: Styles that haven’t been cool since the dial-up era.

Why I’m Optimizing This Blog

It’s not glamorous, but fixing broken links and whispering “Pick me!” to Google makes the site faster and easier for you to find. I’m not spiraling; I’m just cleaning up the blog ghosts.
