Having an ugh stomach day. Just kind of queasy. I guess it might be those 4 doughnuts from last night, lol. That might have been a mistake!

This morning I was feeling good coughing a lot. Off to therapy, had to wear a mask. Didn’t know how much I could do there it has been 8 days. I was afraid I was going to start coughing a lot. I don’t know if it was strenches, stepper but I didn’t cough any during ALL of the excerise maybe I was breathing good.

When I walked out of the building I was breathing good and felt great.

Home but never got around to the nap!!

What I didn’t mention yesterday (too tired) was that when I got home in the dark, I had been locked out! I had visions of having to sleep in the car but tried the back door again. That was open apart from the chain across & I gave it a good ol’ shove (forgot about the Covid shot!). No joy so gave it a big kick & smashed the doorframe off the wall! Hoorah! Contacted the office this morning & a carpenter has just left, having fixed it. Back to bed now for another nap! Honestly, I could do without the drama!

We got our new glass stovetop installed yesterday still haven’t used it though. I am so scared that I will drop something and the whole damn thing will break.

Last week and this week have been so busy and today I have only one thing that I have to do, well two things if you count making dinner. But most of the day is mine to do what I want.

  • gloria patterson

I love seeing blue sky. Where I was before, we never had this much blue sky. That’s why I am always bringing it up. LOL

  • Jennifer Wilson

I never was much into movies, and Halloween was forbidden much of my life. I do love It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, though.

There was a horrible accident the other night with my sweet little HoneyButter. Because she is a guinea pig, finding a vet who would see her Monday night was impossible. She is currently in an animal hospital near Baltimore. I love her so much and want her to recover. All I know at the moment is she is on antibiotics and pain meds and surgery is tentively scheduled for Friday.

First I forgot this from yesterday…………..

While at kroger waiting on my new prescription I was looking for stuff to eat. Have to eat with the medications and food has not been something I want. So a little of this and that. Got in the check out lane behine a OLD couple (I can say that I am old lol) He was in front of the cart talking and she was behind trying to unload all the stuff and she said something to him and he turned around and told her to SHUT UP!!! I was not real sure if he said what I heard. After they moved off and I ask the cashier DID HE TELL HER TO SHUT UP???? The cashier and the baggie both heard it. IF it had been me he said that to that cart would have put him on his ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I feel pretty good! Picked up a little this morning. I live in a senior bldg 100 apartments. First tuesday of ever month they have a service that comes in and sprays for bugs. Ever apartment and all public areas. In the 10 years I have lived here I have had NO BUGS, spiders, not even flies in my apartment. (( and it does NOT smell)

Have done a little computer, read but no nap LOL

  • Tamra Phelps

I’m jealous of your new chair! It looks so comfortable. The rain has finally gone away heer, so that’s nice. A lot of people are still waiting for water to go down around us, but at least the rain has stopped.

Hmm, favorite Halloween movie…I guess I tend to go for the Hitchcock style movie, the kind that seems plausibel. Not gore and almost sci-fi stuff that seems like they would never happen, but Hitchcock’s stuff that makes you think, ‘oh, that could totally happen!’ The Birds still creeps me out. Psycho still scares me. Rear Window gives me chills when Grace Kelly sneaks into the villains apartment and he comes home while she’s there, and Jimmy Stewart is watching through a telescope but can’t get to her. That could happen in real life.

  • Elizabeth

Actual Halloween movie? I’m pretty chicken; can’t take horror movies (Shallow Grave is about my limit, but it’s more of a modern noir), and even the Peanuts Halloween special gets me down (that creepy ghost costume with too many holes, and poor Linus and the Great Pumpkin fiasco!). I like some of the Simpsons Halloween ones before they got too visceral; Homer in the third dimension, or selling his soul for a donut…

    • Elizabeth

Oh, I know! The original What We Do In The Shadows movie is awesome (though I like the TV series too, mostly the first three seasons)…

  • heather

My favorite Halloween movie to watch is The Shining. It’s hard to pick just one The Exorcist is on a whole nother level of scary.
