iGearPro 8 GB Music Player Review
This little iGearPro 8 GB Music Player has to be the easiest MP3 player to set up (AND USE!!) that I own; I am lucky enough to have several and this is my favorite. I’m a button pusher, I don’t want to read a text-book to operate an MP3 player. This one was easy to operate from the start!
There are so many perks in this little unit. From the small lanyard hole on the top to the nice size color screen. The display screen is clean and clear.
The RUIZU not only looks sleek and snazzy but it is super simple to operate! There is a reset button on the side along with an SD slot on the side that you can add up to a 64GB via a MicroSD card. That’s a LOT of space!
The little lightweight unit does it all, from a calendar to a recorder. The RUIZU plays music and videos as well. When a song that I have downloaded to my RUIZU has cover art with it that shows up when a song is played. I love that! This unit also has a stop watch and you can even load this little guy up with photographs and it will play a slide show. You can also read e-books. Navigating the unit is easy there is a big M surrounded by navigation arrows. The arrow buttons easily toggle to get where you want then press the inside of the square (the big M) to make your selection.
Adding music and photo’s to the player was super easy with a drag and drop. You don’t have to download any software.
You can add MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, and FLAC files to this device.
Sorry about the quality of the pictures! I really need more practice photographing electronic screens. But, at least you will get the general idea.
With a full charge I can get up to 80 HOURS of audio playback time. EIGHTY hours!!
Another great perk (well, for someone …. not me I can barely speak ONE language!!) This MP3 player can be programmed to be read in several different languages; from English, French, Russian, Italian, Czech and Spanish.
Such a polite little unit even displays Bye-Bye before it powers down. I did try to take a photo, but 10 boot up/power down tries this was the best I could do. It’s still a nice touch.
WHINES
The unit is small and super lightweight. The options are great, the screen is actually big enough to enjoy looking at my photographs. My only whine is the headset that arrives with the player. The ear pieces are on the large side and don’t easily fit in my ears. I pitched them and replaced them with a soft silicone pair. I’m even more impressed now with the sound quality!

I like having a recorder for chorus rehearsals and to record the words also. I wonder if this would work for that?
