My brother just had a baby girl and their nursery theme is navy blue and coral.

I love the color palatte to help you plan out your color scheme. So many interesting ideas. A far cry from the typical blue or pink.

I love a nursery with animal prints. I like the stripes on the wall. That works for any bedroom.

I love the bright and beautiful colors on the color palette!!

I think a rocking chair is a necessity in any nursery.

Loving the trend for nurseries. I like soft glow lighting and dramatic lighting fixtures.

I love all the colors in the color wheel above—especially the turquoise, aqua, etc. I love that baby rooms don’t need to be baby blue or pretty pink—though those are still fine, too, lol.

If I had a child I think I would go with the woodland animal theme. It’s attractive and can work for a boy or a girl, imo. 🙂

Kirsten Grove (above) mentions ‘chaining station’; what on earth is that? And why would you have a ‘dark & moody’ colour palette in a child’s bedroom? Perfect for a teen perhaps, but a nursery?
