Congratulations DH!!!
Congratulations DH!! After 32 years my darling husband is officially retired!! Can I get a WOOT WOOT?!?! NOW……. more importantly can he come over?!
While most people who retire go on vacation. Take a trip. Go camping. Watch a movie marathon…. but, not our family. Nope…. DH celebrates by getting a pacemaker!!
Did you know that a pacemaker is an OUT PATIENT surgery?? I had to look it up and see what a pacemaker even looks like!! It’s smaller than I thought it would be. The battery is good for 7 to 10 years. He can still work the microwave (One of the questions we had to ask! Thank heavens!! I use that puppy all the time! It’s funny, we are faced with a serious event and the first question we have is about a kitchen appliance??) I need to remember to ask if there is a remote control…. you know… in case I need a project done faster.
So congratulations Randy on 32 years!! And for today…… don’t go into the light please!!! Seriously! Who would empty the trash? Fix the things I break? Pay the bills?? Buy me a shiny??

CONGRATULATIONS to your husband on his retirement AND his pacemaker! May he have many more years with his new “appliance”. =) Now, can you tell me just HOW I can talk MY husband into retiring. He is such a workaholic! But then again, he was home starting two days before Christmas through Jan. 6 and I wondered; “WHEN is he going baaack?!!” LOL =)

My father-in-law had one and it lasted ten years. He just got a new one put in.

Wow, What a difference a day can make. Glad to see they have found the problem and are fixing it. We will be praying for you both and the family. Funny how the skinny ones have the problems. LOL 🙂 <3

Wishing him best of luck. I’ve had a pacemaker for 34 years now, not the same one of course but it has gotten much easier than it use to be. My original was pretty painful and I had wires run everywhere inside me to hook it up. They’re great and do the job and you eventually don’t even know it’s there.Watch out when he gets all his energy back…lol

Hey Randy. you know there are easier ways to get out of the famous “Honey do list”/ seriously take care no running around the block for a day or two. I will put in a good word for you and your family with the Big Guy upstairs
