Acc U Rate® SM-310 Premium Pulse Oximeter Review

Ever since DH had his heart attack and subsequently getting a pace maker, checking his heart rate is really important.  We have a large desk size machine that checks his heart rate; but it isn’t anything we can travel with or take with us when we are out and about.  We are SO thrilled with the extremely portable and VERY accurate Acc U Rate SM-310 an oximeter that checks both your heart rate (pulse) and your blood Oxygen levels.

The unit itself is small, lightweight and very easy to use. Just slip it on your fingertip and turn it on. Within about ten seconds you’ll see your current heart rate and blood oxygen saturation percentage on the large, bright, crystal clear, high contrast OLED display. The finger well has a smooth, almost silky feel and its designed to effortlessly expand to work well with any size finger. There is just enough spring tension to hold it comfortably and securely on your finger without any pain or pinching. Remove your finger and within about ten seconds the SM-310 will power down automatically. It could not be easier.

The Acc U Rate® SM-310 is AWESOME!! Small, very portable and super easy to operate. Place your finger inside and press the on button.  The fit is comfortable and exerts only a very light pressure. In less than a minute you can read both your pulse and oxygen levels.  The oximeter updates your readings in real time.

The results display on a dual color OLED and rotatable display, allowing you to view your measurements in any directions. The Acc U Rate® SM-310 has an easy one touch operation, the Acc U Rate automatically turns off after 8 seconds of non use. So your battery will last for a very long time.  We’ve been using ours for over a month and it’s still going strong. There is a low power indicator too.

The screen has large easy to read numbers!! I can read the screen without my glasses!!  From left to right, you see your SpO2 value and your pulse.

We’ve used both our large desk size blood pressure monitor and the Acc U Rate® SM-310 for exact same readings.

There is an instruction sheet enclosed and they are easy to follow!

The Acc U Rate® SM-310 takes 2 AAA batteries that Acc U Rate supplies. That was a great touch! The Acc U Rate also comes with a protective, soft silicone protective case and an outer fitted canvas type bag. The canvas bag has a belt loop so DH can easily wear this on his belt. There is also a detachable lanyard so you can either wear the Acc U Rate around your neck if you wanted. Or just hang it out of the way on a hook.
