Keeping Connected When Your Grandchild Lives Far Away
Y’all know I have horrible separation anxiety over having Alice live so far away. Thankfully, we live in an age of modern technology. Staying connected to MY Grandma was much harder! Back when talking long distance cost you per minute and your phone was connected to a cord. 2018 it’s a whole lot easier, well, mostly. Ya know; 7-year-old’s have a busy social life. These Grandbabies are EXHAUSTING!! I don’t know how some of my followers do it! Diane with her 8 or 9 little ladies……. I just can’t imagine. I did a two-night sleepover with my 3 (under 5) and I’m exhausted! At one point I just wanted to enjoy a cup of coffee. HOT coffee. In one sitting. I’m not a greedy gir…. wait, yes I am. Miss Alice Avery Price!! Arrived this morning 6/1/2011 at 10:30 this morning. 21 inches long. 6pounds 9 ounces. 10 little toes 10 little fingers and so so so so is so beautiful!!! Mom, Dad and Alice are doing great! Look at how pretty she is!!! And a whole 18 days EARLY to boot!! Fast forward to 2024, Alice is a few weeks shy of 13!! HOW is that possible??
