April 15th Photo-A-Day TRANSPORT
The Photo-A-Day choices were Sadness which I was going to be funny and show the IRS logo and remind you that today TAXES are due. That inspires sadness in me. Hobby was another choice but since I dedicated the entire MONTH of March to my HOBBY that seemed really redundant. Then I saw TRANSPORT and that struck a funny cord in me. Soooooooooo I give you my interpretation of TRANSPORT!! Am I a funny girl or what? I told you! I collect some of the oddest things! This little donkey has been with me for years. He is so stinkin’ cute I can’t seem to get rid of him. Do you collect useless (totally obscure and weird) items to?? Godzilla he was part of the Comet TV giveaways way back. He is 100% a keeper! Probably until Alice visits then I may lose him or she just shake her head at me too. I hope you all have a WONDERFUL week!!

April 14th Photo-A-Day ENTRANCE
So, my plan for the Photo-A-Day prompt of ENTRANCE was going to be the tree house. But, it’s raining. I’m sugar! I WILL MELT!! Okay, fine. I just don’t wanna tromp through the mud to go to the scary tree house. So instead you get the entrance to our home. Oh and a side note here we are getting a new roof; a metal one so that the snow slides off. I’m thinking red. Whadda you think? Some of the accent pieces on the decks and under the awnings are painted red. I thought it would be a nice compliment. BUT since we are in the middle of the woods would it be TOO much?? Should I just stick to a deep green? This is not our house or our roof; this is just for example. So, back to my photo prompt. This is my entrance from porch to the inside. The entry is small with or large? Open the door and you are immediately on the main floor. Stairs to the right and a pantry closet. Kitchen to the left and main living area straight ahead. AND BEAR right there to meet you!! Seriously, Bears butt it makes me…

Easter Picnic Set #Giveaway Powered By #CatholicCentral #EasterTraditions
Easter is one of the most celebrated and cherished holidays and I am super excited to partner with Catholic Central to celebrate this time of new life and transformation with an Easter Picnic Set Giveaway. Growing up Easter Sunday was always a favorite of mine. We had new dresses, crisp and white. White gloves and a little purse too!! Along with white patent leather shoes with a bow. I always had a bow. After Easter Sunday those became my Sunday Shoes, I would wear those shoes till they were so tight my toes curled. Then Sunday Mass and then off to a HUGE Easter dinner with all the family. There were a TON of us!! Celebrating Easter with my kids meant decorating eggs and hiding them except for that year we found 13 eggs! That was a scary year! It also meant a trip to Olan Mills for a fancy picture! The older my kids got the funnier our Easter Dinners were and then that fateful year that they trash talked each other with messages on the eggs. Yes, I had to hide several messages! We didn’t decorate eggs again until Granddaughter Alice came around.…
