Dot & Bo #Bamboo Salad Bowl #Review

I love being able to share with you guys unique and wonderful products and today’s is both!! Check out this beautiful Dot & Bo Bamboo Salad Bowl. Doesn’t it scream summer?? It would be mean of me to mention that where I am in Southern California we are having a heat wave; especially when most of you are under a thick blanket of snow; so I’ll stop mentioning and continue talking about my new Bamboo Salad Bowl. A beautiful salad bowl at that!!

Bamboo products are 100% biodegradable, which makes for a perfect green and environmental product. Did you know that Bamboo is a grass that grows to a harvest-able height between 3 to 5 years with some species growing up to 2 feet per day!! After harvesting, bamboo does not require replanting. Instead, they have an extensive root system that continually sends up new shoots, and naturally replenishes itself, which is why it’s one of the most renewable resource known.

My bamboo bowl is not just beautiful and functional it’s also made of the most renewable resources in the world. Using bamboo reduces the consumption of timber, which helps to preserve the forests and environment.

Did you know that bamboo is 16% harder than maple wood, weighs a third lighter than oak, and in some cases as strong as steel. While other hardwoods, absorbs moisture, bamboo doesn’t; it actually absorbs very little moisture; so it doesn’t shrink or swell as much making it a perfect choice for bowls and cutting boards too.

My new Dot & Bo Bamboo Salad Bowl is STUNNING!! Truly accentuates my table!! I love everything about this bamboo bowl. From the bright lime green color to the beautiful bamboo of the inside. A mix of natural bamboo and lime green really sets this bowl apart from any salad bowl I’ve seen! Just because it’s called a salad bowl, it doesn’t mean you can’t use it as a bowl for more things! This unique beautiful bowl looks great on my table with whatever I put in it!!

Not a single one!! This is a beautiful, sturdy, organic bowl! It’s so pretty it makes it easy to eat healthy! I should add it’s HUGE!! The salad above was enough for 4 people and it doesn’t even touch the top! I love the color and the shape!! My Dot & Bo Bamboo Salad Bowl will be around in my kitchen for YEARS!!
