Etekcity®4K x 2K 3 Port High Speed HDMI Switch Review
Impressive! Yup, that’s the best word I can use to describe this 3 Port High Speed HDMI Switch. When your TV doesn’t have enough ports for all your appliances you need this switch!!
Now we can hook up our XBox, DVD player and Blu-Ray player. We’ve been having to do the ol’ switch-a-roo with cords. Not any more!!! The Eteckcity Get Connected 4×1 HDMI Switch is the perfect solution.
The Eteckcity Switch box fully supports my TV and high-resolution colors. Not only do I get 1080p but you also get picture n picture viewing. This is a small box but it sure does an awful lot! The Get Connected lets you connect up to three HDMI devices for example. We have our Amazon Fire, Cablebox and DVD player attached.
The HDMI switch is small and sleek-looking. It looks nice sitting next to the television. The Get Connected seamlessly switches between the devices that I want. There is even a remote control included!!
We found there is no signal degradation and no background noise or static.
MORE TO LOVE!
There is a remote control enclosed WITH the batteries included!! That was a really nice surprise. Pull the plastic tab off to connect the battery to initially use the remote.
The HDMI cables are not included with the Get Connected switch so be sure to grab one cord for each device you want to connect; you’ll also need a cord for the output device.
The Get Connected 3 Port High Speed HDMI Switch is infrared; not Bluetooth so be sure to point the remote at the front of the box.
Get Connected also gives you Picture In Picture by pressing the “PIP” button on the remote. There you’ll see a preview on-screen of all connected devices; press “SEL” button to toggle through the PIP selections and then press “Enter”. It’s much easier than it sounds!
More ports for more devices!
With HDMI becoming the standard plug on most new devices, it’s hard to have enough ports on your TV/display for all your devices to stay plugged in.This will increase the life of your HDMI port and you will no longer have to crawl behind the TV to switch devices that are plugged into your TV.
PIP (Picture in picture) support
One program (channel) is displayed on the full TV screen at the same time as one or more other programs are displayed in inset windows. Sound is from the main program only。This supports up to 2 sub-screens at a single time so you can be watching 3 other things at a single time as you are on your main display!

Dad would have loved this – techy mad and always on the lookout for the latest gadget! We eventually had to give him the smallest bedroom to have as his ‘man cave’. I haven’t a clue what half the things in his room do but I suppose I’ll have to learn now and take over that role in the family.
