One of my favorite beauty routines is using a facial scrub. Not only does it get rid of dry patches and uneven skin tone, but also dead skin cells. My face always feels soft and smooth, looks clearer and radiant after a scrub. NOW that said, sometimes I just don’t have the time or a scrub or even, all the ingredients on hand.  Wellll, HELLO Exfolimate!! What a HANDY little beauty tool this is!! Check this out, I can exfoliate face and body with NO mess!! No messy face scrubs, no powder, no mask, no mixing, no MESS. I am still getting all of the benefits of a scrub!!

The Exfolimate was designed in Australia and is truly innovative.  The micro-groove technology is etched into the smooth metal edge. The micro-grooves gently lifts and removes lingering skin cells and debris to unveil younger, fresher skin.
I love that I can use the Exfolimate to gently exfoliate my face with the smaller tool and my body with the larger. The Exfolimate™ is easy to use and can be done at the end of my shower. Using this beauty took has made a HUGE difference in how well my ‘fake’ tan goes ON and how nicely it LOOKS!!

Using the Exfolimate

Make sure your skin is wet and supple. I like to use mine at the end of my shower. Using both the face and the body Exfolimate is the same. Apply a GENTLE pressure and glide the tool at a 90 degree angle. The smaller Exfolimate is perfect for the contours of your face, around the eye area, nose and ear area. Super EASY!! You really only need a little pressure to exfoliate your skin. I work on small sections of my skin at a time. I rinse as I go, that way I don’t have any lingering dead skin cells. Once I’m completely done, I rinse the Exfolimate again under hot water, towel dry and hook on the towel rack for my next shower.

Benefits of the Exfolimate

The Exfolimate is truly a wonderful beauty tool. Not just for the face but for the body too. I found that I’m getting a LOT LESS ingrown hairs when I use the Exfolimate before shaving my legs. My moisturizer absorbs faster all over my body! My wonderful facial products absorb quickly AND gives me quicker benefits of younger looking skin.

This 56 year old body can use all the help I can give it!! I love that I control the pressure. I am removing dead skin cells, oils, pollution, dirt and grime!! I’m not using any chemicals, no wax, nothing! 

I do want to note, this is a exfoliate tool and NOT a shaver. This will NOT remove hair. It does help dry skin, rough patches and blemishes by helping your current products absorb better and FASTER!

Dead skin cells can reduce the natural reflective properties of the skin. Removing the dead skin cells achieves healthier looking skin that can glow, which may also reduce the appearance of fine lines. Dead skin cells flake off naturally through a process called desquamation, which normally takes around 28 days. Exfoliation speeds up the process revealing newer, fresher rejuvenated skin. It is recommended to always use a sunscreen after exfoliation.
