Five Ways to Impress Your Wife on Valentine’s Day

You know how much I love Daddy Nickell of Daddy & Co, formally Daddy Scrubs. I wanted to share Daddy Nickell’s 5 ways to impress your wife on Valentines Day!! Enjoy!!

  • Buy a card in advance, and write something thoughtful in it, too.  Underline some of the words that have significant meaning.  Believe it or not, most women love to get cards.  They love the thoughts, the words, the action, and the deed.  If you do nothing else, go and buy a card.  Do not buy an electronic card or send an email or a text.  Spend time picking out the perfect card, sign it, and give it to her on Valentine’s Day morning.
  • Tell her you love her and mean it.  When your wife is up in the morning, move in for the hug, look her in the eyes, tell her you love her, and mean it with all your heart.  She is the mother of your children, the young beauty you married, and your team partner for life.  Make her smile and light up her world with three simple words: I Love You.
  • Make a reservation for dinner, because restaurants fill up early and you likely won’t want the 10pm reservation or the 5pm; you want prime time – 7 or 8pm with a nice table arranged in advance. Even if you end up deciding to stay home on the couch with a bag of popcorn and a glass of wine, the fact that you thought in advance and made a reservation will make all the difference in the world.  Your wife will appreciate that gesture and love you even more.
  • Buy flowers! I know it is an age-old Valentine’s Day cliché, but it is still romantic and kind.  The type of flower, the color, the style, or the size is not as important as the fact that you bought the flowers and thought about her in advance.
  • Be thoughtful – as mentioned throughout this article.  Being thoughtful and showing you mean it, is the best way to say you are in love. Thank your wife for being such a wonderful life partner, do the dishes without being asked, serve her breakfast in bed, pick up the kids from school, etc. Do whatever you can to show your appreciation and adoration this Valentine’s Day.

Happy Valentines!!  It is a great day.  Let the pressure slip off your shoulder with these easy five tips.

Sincerely,

Daddy Nickell
