FLOUREAON Digital Camera/Camcorder Review
I am so excited about this little handheld digital camcorder from FLOUREAON!! I am pleased with my purchase for so many reasons. First, its light weight, much lighter than my Nikon camera. Now, it’s not that I don’t trust The Husband with my Nikon D7000 camera (I am SO LYING!!! With a straight face even!) but with his M.S. he doesn’t have the steadiest of gaits let alone being known to spontaneously drop things, it’s safe to say he isn’t getting my camera. EVER. The cost is super reasonable at under $52, so even if it does get damaged it won’t cost an arm and a leg to replace or repair.
The camcorder is small. 5″ long by 2.5″ high by 2.5″ wide. This camera fits nicely in both my hand and The Husbands. The camcorder weighs in at 1 pound! Even 6-Year-Old Alice can use this camera easily.
The controls are easily identified. On the top is a toggle to zoom in or out. Below the toggle is a photo button allowing you to take still pictures. The pictures are 3.0 mega pixels with face detection.
Open the screen; which tilts up to 270° allowing you to find the perfect angle to watch what you are filming. The TFT-LCD screen is a nice crisp, clear 2.7″!! When the screen is open the power on/off button along with mode, menu, up and down buttons are available and easy to use.
PAUSE BUTTON! Yes, this camera will pause, while you are filming simply touch the POWER/OK button a second press with begin filming again.
On the back of the camera is the USB slot for charging or attaching to your television.
Under the camera allows you to attach an M6 size tripod to the camcorder. The underside is also where you will find the SD card slot and battery. The camcorder will take an SD card of 4GB to 32GB, neither are included. The battery is a 3.7 volt 1250mA Li-ion battery. Be sure to charge the battery before the first use. I let it charge overnight for the first charge. After that 2 hours of charge time will give you 90 minutes of filming or 150 minutes of photo taking.
The camera arrives with a small carry-case that will attach to your belt.
WHINES
None, I wanted to send a camera with The Husband for his next trip up to Idaho to start our moving process. This mini sized camera does the trick. Works inside and outside. Lightweight. Good zoom ability (up to 16 times). Rechargeable. Able to be attached to a tripod. All that under $52, I can’t complain.
