New York, NY, September, 2016 – Shoplet recently announced plans to host a massive giveaway campaign designed to give back to teachers and schools who are constantly struggling with budget cuts. The Shoplet for Schools campaign will be kicking off September 19th and run through October 3rd, 2016. The highlight of the event features a grand prize bundle of assorted school necessities valued at $5,000. The winner of the event will be selecting a school of their choice to donate the prize.
“Shoplet works with school purchasers as well as parents, but we are seeing so many teachers paying out of pocket for supplies for their classrooms,” says Tony Ellison, the CEO and Founder of Shoplet. “We wanted to show our support as well. Education is about expanding opportunities, and that’s why we are opening this drawing up to give everyone the opportunity to help.”
The Shoplet for Schools campaign pays tribute to the work that teachers do for their students. Aside from the main giveaway event, promotions will be offered on affiliate websites frequented by teachers that feature discounts for future orders. The giveaway is designed to help educators stock their classrooms for the school year, but the contest itself will be open to anyone who wants to help their school win this massive bundle.
“It’s a different kind of giveaway than what people would expect,” says Jessica Choi, Social Media Manager for Shoplet. “Our followers typically enter to win prizes that are of benefit to themselves, but this time we are encouraging our followers to think of others.”
The drawing will occur on October 3rd, and the giveaway includes products like pens, pencils, binders, crafts supplies, teacher’s planners and much more. The total value of these items is around $5,000. The products were graciously donated to the cause by Shoplet’s various network of partners and vendors. Some of the participating sponsors include 3M, Avery, Pilot, Lysol, Ticonderoga and many more. “The level of excitement was encouraging,” Ellison announced. “Once we put the word out that we were in need of sponsors, everyone wanted to help!”
Shoplet is proud to be a supporter of schools and their educators. “We really want to get the word out for this campaign,” says Ellison. “Every school is winner, and they should all be treated like one.”

Thanks for the info.

That is a lot of school supplies. Teachers would welcome that, since I know a lot of teachers buy supplies out of their own wallets!
