Ibagbar Small Vintage Cotton Canvas Messenger Bag
One of my favorite types of reviews to write is about bags, satchels, messenger bag, and purses. The hippie in me comes out when I get offered canvas purses. Oh man, growing up, those bags were my favorite, and I just never outgrew the look.
What I love most about this Ibagbar Small Vintage Cotton Canvas Messenger Bag is the fact this bag is soft, with that already broken-in feel to it. The deep tan color mixed with the dark brown leather accents and dark brown webbed handle make this bag so attractive.
Bonus! This bag holds a ton of stuff! Alice and I went to the San Diego Zoo on Thursday and I brought a camera, iPad, wallet, bottle of water, snacks and one Princess doll (Bringing Princess Aurora was NOT my idea! Alice insisted that Aurora wanted to see the Panda Bears but she was too cold to be held and should be in my purse…… ummmmm hummmmmm right!)
I love the zippered area on the back of the purse, it held our passes and ID so I didn’t have to dig for them. I also thru my car keys in there again so I didn’t have to dig for them.
The wide shoulder strap was comfortable all day long and long enough to wear cross body, which is great when you want to boost up said 4 year old to get a better look at the animals.
Inside the bag is a pocket for cell phone and a larger pocket for camera. Another zippered pocket inside for my lip gloss and such.
The entire bag zips shut under the flap which is perfect for added security. (Ya know ’tis the season and all!) The bag is completely lined with a cotton fabric. The bag is 10″ across and 12.2″ high and 2.4″ deep. A total of 5 pockets, a magnetic snap on the flap and a full 1 year warranty make this bag 100% a keeper!!
WHINES
Not a single one. This bag is constructed wonderfully. Perfect seams all the way around. Heavy duty zippers each with a leather zipper pull. The bag also arrives in a light weight dust bag, an awesome touch to help protect my bag when not in use. The size is perfect and could easily be used by a man or woman. I highly recommend this bag!
BTW the Pandas are ADORABLE!!!
[ReviewDisclaimer]
Updating my blog’s SEO now ranks right up there with cleaning behind the fridge. Necessary. Honorable. Mildly traumatizing. 7865 posts to go through. The Head Peanut is NOT amused.
What started as a “quick refresh” turned into a full-blown excavation.
I opened a five-year-old post and found:
- Half the images missing.
- Links leading to businesses that now exist only in legend.
- A font choice clearly made during a caffeine-fueled identity crisis.
Welcome to the glamorous life.
Somewhere in the depths of my site lives The Ghost of PBnWhine Past. It floats through old posts, deleting photos like a Victorian librarian with a vendetta.
“Oh, you needed those step-by-step craft photos?”
Gone.
“That beautifully staged product review?”
Into the abyss.
Now the tutorials read like this:
Step 1: Do the thing
Step 2: [image missing]
Step 3: Just believe in yourself
Extremely helpful. Gold star content.
And the links? Nothing builds character like clicking a reference and landing on:
Error 404: This business has retired to Florida.
Apparently half the brands I worked with have closed, rebranded, or reemerged as something called “Crypto Spoon AI Wellness Collective.” Time is a fever dream.
So here I am, playing archaeologist with Wi-Fi. Replacing images. Fixing links. Adding keywords. Gently whispering to Google, “Notice me. I bring snacks.”
It’s not glamorous, but it makes the blog faster, cleaner, and easier to find. Which means more crafts, more reviews, more giveaways — and fewer digital tumbleweeds.

So if you catch me muttering at my laptop, swatting invisible ghosts with a broom made of metadata, don’t worry.
I’m not spiraling.
I’m optimizing.
Which, in blogger terms, means battling digital poltergeists, resurrecting broken links, and shamelessly courting search engines with fresh content.
Completely normal.

That’s a nice looking bag and just my style. I like the pockets and the crossbody style. The pandas are very cute.

These were really popular during my teens (late 70s/early 80s.) I loved them then & still have a soft spot for them now! Like Kate, I think the fact that you can wash them so easily is a huge bonus!

I had a canvas cross-over bag all through my College (the 1st time) years. It’s so hardwearing and of course washable.
