Key Lime Pie!! Review! & Give AWAY!!!
YYYYYUUUMMMMMMMM!!!!!! Hello, Key Lime Cheesecake Bars!! First, ya’all know I am a sucker for packaging! What can I say……I’m a package junkie. The Key Lime box is adorable!! Pull on the the green leaf and brown stem (just like a lime! sooo cute!) the box opens. It’s so unique!!
Okay I know, I know get to the good stuff….. first all you need is cream cheese, water, and butter.
Part of the directions said line the bottom of the pan with plastic wrap so when the Key Lime Bars are done you pull out the whole thing….. then your not leaving anything in the pan and when you cut the bars they look so much nicer!! Okay… why didn’t I think of that before?!!?
BONUS!! I didn’t have to wash the pan!
Inside the box is the Chocolate cookie crust which you just add melted butter, press evenly and firmly in the bottom of pan.
Add hot water, cream cheese and the mix into the mixer. 4 minutes later pour over the chocolate cookie crust. Refrigerate for an hour.
Doesn’t that look SO GOOD?!?! It really was delicious!! Just enough sweet. Just enough tart. It was a huge hit…. so much so it’s all gone and I really want another piece!!
Seriously EASY to make!! This would be a perfect dessert for the kids to make this summer.
I have to share a funny story about our Key Lime Cheesecake Bars……. I made the Key Lime Cheesecake and was staging the pictures when I thought I want a garnish on top. I remembered seeing idea’s on the back of the box. Top with shredded cheese. I thought! Weird… but I have that….. so cheese… on top… snapping pictures… DH with the box in hand asks “where did you see cheese?”
I said bottom of the box. DH points and says “here?”
Me: “yea where it says additional suggestions”
DH: “Where are your glasses? Cause it says: shredded chocolate“

Who’s up for some PIE?!?! Minus the shredded cheese of course!! Although the cheese wasn’t bad. AND it was only on this post picture piece. (WOW say that fast 3 times!)
The wonderful people over at Plentiful Pantry are giving one very lucky Peanut Butter and Whine Follower their own Key Lime Pie mix. YUM!!! I’m more than willing to come over and help eat pie with you! GOOD Luck!!
