2022 is just hours away! Can you believe another year has come and gone? I am pretty darn sure that I JUST wished you little Peanuts a Happy 2021!??! Again!! Time flies like crazy! Yeah, even in Idaho. Yup, I’m still a funny girl!  A FUNNY GIRL with NEW Jewelry!!

This year I was trying to find a necklace that I could wear all the time. Something pretty, feminine and delicate looking but sturdy. Okay, seriously? Did I really think I would find all those requirements in ONE chain?? No…. honestly I didn’t. HOWEVER!! That was before I searched on my favorite jewelry site Au-Rate.  Hit that search bar with: Gold Bold Chain Necklace HELLO!!! First LINE of pictures and VOILA! THERE sits my chain.

It’s so perfect for me! Not to mention even the box is special! Along with the little pocket case to store my necklace in.

Oh sure, I looked in the big-name stores like Zales and even department stores like Macy’s but nothing clicked with me. I wanted unique. I also didn’t want to spend a fortune. I mean HELLO! I just spent a small fortune with Christmas gifts.

So? What do you think of my choice?? I would LOVE to know which necklace or which piece of jewelry strikes your fancy over at Au-Rate. Are you a gold? Silver? Diamond (y’all know I’m a diamond lover above all. A girl MUST have dreams RIGHT!??!)

I have a fun fact from Wikipedia: Gold is a chemical element with the symbol Au (IS THIS why AU-Rate is named such?!?!?! I dunno! but, I am gonna say yup.)  and atomic number 79, making it one of the higher atomic number elements that occur naturally. In a pure form, it is a bright, slightly reddish yellow, dense, soft, malleable, and ductile metal. Chemically, gold is a transition metal and a group 11 element.

See?? Y’all learned two new things today. One, I still believe in spoiling myself. (pffftttt like you didn’t already KNOW that!) AND the second thing, I taught you about the chemical elements of gold.

I would also love to know if you plan to stay awake to Ring In 2022? I will be sawing logs well before midnight. I do have a bottle of Champagne that I will be opening around 6pm. (okay, maybe around 3pm….. okay noon! Geesh! It’s like you know me so well!)
