The cord is a flat cord that doesn’t tangle!! I can throw this in my bag and not worry that I’ll have a big knot when I need it.  LOVE that!!!  This is a long charging cord too 3.2 Feet long!

This cord is all one piece!  The 30 pin connector is the mail part of the cord, pull the cord down and it there is a hinge so that you can bend the connector for easy access to the 8 pin connection. When your done transmitting or charging just slip the 8 pin back inside the 30 pin attachment. SUPER easy!!
