The Traveling Grandma Game
This traveling Non, is at it again. I’m so excited I have been packing for a month already. Remember Last Years Amaaazing Travel Destination? Remember last year? Alice invited me to go on her 8th-Grade Class-Trip to New York, Boston, and Washington DC! (Okay, once again, MY 8th-grade class trip we took a bus from Rush Colorado to Colorado Springs 41 miles, for a MOVIE!) Now kids take a plane? Across the country?!?! The Point Of This Post Granddaughter Olivia played the ” You went with Alice to Washington, Boston and New York” card with an invitation to watch her Cheer-Team finals. A 5 day event. (Ohhhh, poor me, it’s in HAWAII!!) Uhhh, THAT was a no-brainer! OF course, sweet child, of course! OF COURSE! She TRULY didn’t even have to start with the Alice guilt! I would absolutely have packed my suitcase. (Yeah, Cheer-Team finals… yeah… that’s mostly the reason) Packing Time Ahhh, maybe just a tad too early.…

How Tech and Digital Tools Are Changing the Way People Find and Buy Real Estate
Table of Contents The Digital Transformation of Property Searches The traditional methods of house hunting, such as perusing newspaper listings or driving through neighborhoods in search of “For Sale” signs, have been largely replaced by online real estate marketplaces. These platforms provide comprehensive listings with high-resolution photos, detailed property descriptions, and neighborhood insights, enabling prospective buyers to explore options from the comfort of their homes. For those seeking personalized assistance in navigating the digital real estate landscape, working with an experienced professional can be invaluable. For instance, Destin FL real estate agent Yvonne Summerfield offers comprehensive services in the Destin area. As a seasoned broker associate with RE/MAX Coastal Properties, Yvonne provides clients with deep industry knowledge and outstanding service, helping them find their ideal property along Florida’s Emerald Coast. Her expertise spans various property types, including luxury homes, beachfront properties, and investment opportunities. As more buyers rely on online searches, platforms are continually expanding their features. These include interactive maps, detailed…

Fire! The Scariest Word EVER! Fire BAD!
Unless you are new here, you know I live on a mountain just outside of Sandpoint, Idaho. Fire is the word that terrifies me the most. There is one road serving our little piece of heaven. One windy dirt road, not a fast road. No, it’s a pot-holed, privately maintained road. Our home, circled in blue, is surrounded by trees: tons, and TONS of trees. I’m Not Kidding When I Say FIRE BAD! Fire safety is something that I hadn’t really THOUGHT about before moving here. Living in Southern California and having a fire station 1 mile away, pffftttt what’s to stress over? Yes, we kept a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. NOT just because I announced to the family, ‘dinner’s ready’ with a smoke-filled room. But, because I AM a responsible parent. I taught my children about fire safety. We even practiced fire drills. SEE??? I was a RESPONSIBLE parent. Thankfully, we never had any accidents. Here? Well, I…

March, you were an absolute beast, and I am glad you are over. The hardest hit area in the house was my craftroom. Craft chaos is piled everywhere. EVERY. WHERE. Everything just… piled up. Work deadlines, laundry deadlines (let’s be real, those are always there), actual physical piles of stuff… it was a deluge. One thing after another, like a relentless tide of obligations and forgotten coffee mugs, lost glasses and my missing phone. Now, April? April is going to be different. I have declared it! April is the month I get out of my own way. The month I purge, organize, and finally, finally reclaim my craft space and my sanity. I can’t CREATE in this CHAOS!! Step One Of Operation Reclaim Sanity: Clean up the craftroom. This has been a goal of mine way too many times, right? A beautifully simple, inspiring, blog-post-worthy goal. “Here is my sparkling clean crafting sanctuary, full of organized glitter and prioritized ribbon!”…
