Predator Guard Scare Tape – Bird Repellent Tape Review

WOW!! Why didn’t we find this earlier?!?!?! This is a MUST have for every gardener; no matter how big or how small your garden is the Predator Guard Scare Tape will work!!

First, the Scare Tape is pretty; more importantly we are keeping those pesky little vermin out of our garden!! We just stapled the Scare Tape to our fence over the garden area. We also attached with tape around our newly planted fruit trees.

Between the shiny Mylar shimmer that the Scare Tape produces and noise that the tape makes when the wind picks up; birds haven’t disturbed our trees or vegetables. The Mylar material shimmers and dances in the sunlight it’s so pretty to watch. While it looks pretty on the fence it also distracts and disorients pesky birds and scurrying little animals.

We haven’t had any problem with squirrels, birds or gophers around the area we have our Scare Tape. Brilliant product!!

MORE TO LOVE

It keeps the birds out of the yard, but it doesn’t disturb our hummingbirds that come to the feeder just a few feet away. I was worried about our little hummingbirds! I didn’t want anything to keep them away.

The tape works fantastic in the daytime. But, if you need night-time protection just add lighting near the tape. Just enough to reflect light. We have found the noise is a great deterrent too. So any breeze really helps.

HOW TO USE

It couldn’t be any easier if you tried!! Cut 3′ strips of Scare Tape and attach to your fence, post or tree. We found a plain ‘ole stapler worked just fine! We placed the strips approximately 4’ apart.

Predator Guard Scare Tape comes in a 100 foot roll. The tape itself is 2″ wide. For our small garden this is more than enough for 2 full seasons. I only wish we had found this tape before all those pesky vermin ate so many of our tomatoes!!

I love that Scare Tape keeps the pesky guys out of the garden with no chemicals. Animals and birds are not being hurt by the Scare Tape. They are just going to quieter and less annoyingly bright yards…. like next door!
