Holiday Cleaning With VonHaus Steam Mop!
Getting ready for the Holidays is more than just gift buying, cooking and singing Christmas carols. It means cleaning. A lot of cleaning. I have an awesome product to tell you about today that will make some of that deep cleaning go a LOT faster!! The VonHaus Steam Mop. Talk about easy cleaning!!
Our entire house is tile flooring, so cleaning takes hours! With many buckets of dirty water. The VonHaus Steam Mop has really changed all that! This steam mop heats up fast. Within 30 seconds! The steam lasts for a full room before I have to refill the water reservoir.
GETTING STARTED
Putting together the VanHaus Steam Mop was super easy. 2 screws and done!! Then add one of the two enclosed microfiber pads that come with the steam mop to the mop head, add water AND 30 seconds later you are cleaning and disinfecting your floors.
The VonHaus Steam Mop is really powerful! A full 1500-watt steam mop. I love that I don’t need chemicals or detergents to really, REALLY clean my floors! I can use my new steam mop on marble, ceramic, stone, linoleum and sealed hardwood floors; even parquet!! NOT only that, but the VonHaus Steam Mop comes with a carpet glider attachment that allows you to sterilize your carpet and lift that ground-in dirt. HOW COOL is THAT!??! We tried it on our little throw rugs and it works PERFECTLY!!!
The water tank holds a full 800 ml, about 3½ cups. That means a LOT more cleaning time and a lot less refilling!! I love that the folks at VonHaus include 2 microfiber cleaning pads. With the full house being tiled, one pad just wouldn’t work for us. Two is perfect!!
MORE TO LOVE
The power cord is LONG!! REALLY LONG!! As in 16½ FEET!! Again, such a little thing, but I’m cleaning faster! Because I’m not refilling as often, I’m not unplugging and plugging into wall sockets as often. LOVE these extra features!!
I do not have any problems with water pooling when the mop is on; just a nice steady stream of steam. (Try and say that 3 times fast!) The VonHaus Steam Mop maneuvers so easily around corners and edges because of the swivel head. LOVE this MOP!! I can’t believe how easily it picks up dirt and grime!! Check out the dirt on this microfiber pad!! That’s from what I THOUGHT was a clean floor!! ACKKK!!!
WHINES
A small complaint, the trigger doesn’t lock so when you are cleaning, you do have to hold the trigger in. Like I said a very minor whine. This is a GREAT steam mop!! Two very enthusiastic thumbs WAY, WAY, WAY UP!!!

Let’s Refresh This Really OLD Post Shall We?
Updating my blog’s SEO now ranks right up there with cleaning behind the fridge. Necessary. Honorable. Mildly traumatizing. 7865 posts to go through. The Head Peanut is NOT amused.
What started as a “quick refresh” turned into a full-blown excavation.
I opened a five-year-old (plus) post and found:
- Half the images missing.
- Links leading to businesses that now exist only in legend.
- A font choice clearly made during a caffeine-fueled identity crisis.
Welcome to the glamorous life.
Somewhere in the depths of my site lives The Ghost of PBnWhine Past. It floats through old posts, deleting photos like a Victorian librarian with a vendetta.
“Oh, you needed those step-by-step craft photos?”
Gone.
“That beautifully staged product review?”
Into the abyss.
Now the tutorials read like this:
Step 1: Do the thing
Step 2: [image missing]
Step 3: Just believe in yourself
Extremely helpful. Gold star content.
And the links? Nothing builds character like clicking a reference and landing on:
Error 404: This business has retired to Florida.
Apparently half the brands I worked with have closed, rebranded, or reemerged as something called “Crypto Spoon AI Wellness Collective.” Time is a fever dream.
So here I am, playing archaeologist with Wi-Fi. Replacing images. Fixing links. Adding keywords. Gently whispering to Google, “Notice me. I bring snacks.”
It’s not glamorous, but it makes the blog faster, cleaner, and easier to find. Which means more crafts, more reviews, more giveaways — and fewer digital tumbleweeds.

So if you catch me muttering at my laptop, swatting invisible ghosts with a broom made of metadata, don’t worry.
I’m not spiraling.
I’m optimizing.
Which, in blogger terms, means battling digital poltergeists, resurrecting broken links, and shamelessly courting search engines with fresh content.
Completely normal.
