Rash Guard Review

My daughter Selena and her family LOVE paddle boarding. I think wait; I know they would be out on the water every single day if it weren’t for those pesky ‘jobs’ they have!! Selena was thrilled to be given the chance to review a Rash Guard from The Sun and Surf Store!

A good fit akin to a second skin

The Legend Rash Guard Compression Shirt fits so well that it feels like a second skin. Unlike most rash guards I have tried this one has a long torso that tucks nicely into my swim shorts and doesn’t pull up. As a chubby girl I love that, no one wants to see Baby Huey on a paddle board. The neckline is similar to a mock turtleneck so that water doesn’t seep in like it would if it were lower along the sternum. It’s getting colder out on the water and with the Legend Rash Guard I can paddle without freezing my tootsies off.

I like the dark color and white stitching that gives it some flare. Since it’s a men’s size compression shirt (they don’t offer women’s) my “girls” are restrained a bit but that is fine with me. I like that the material is soft and thicker than most rash guards and will block out sand and the aforementioned wind as well as sun. I do not plan on falling off my board into the water but if I do I’ll be thankful I have the Legend Rash Guard on.

I use the LRG exclusively for paddle boarding as wind and sun protection but it is completely versatile, it can be worn to workout, swim, ski, surf, bike, and run or worn under a uniform for extra protection in the elements. There is total unobstructed movement in this shirt, nothing pinches or chafes under the armpit or along the seams which makes it ideal for hours of movement and sweating.

I highly recommend this shirt – it’s so comfortable your own skin might get jealous.
