The SleepBuddy arrives wrapped up like a present. What a great touch!! Inside the package is the programmable sleep light, children’s story book that explains to your child the idea behind the SleepBuddy.  There is a chart with stickers to reinforce success.  Alice is all about the stickers!!

First thing after opening our present, we read the Bedtime Story and put up the sticker chart. The SleepBuddy is super easy to program! It took less than 3 minutes to program for bedtime and naptime.

The SleepBuddy light is bright enough to replace a night light, also bright enough to be seen for naptime.  Alice seemed to grasp the idea immediately almost treating the light like a game. Sleep Buddy is great for boys or girls, there aren’t any cutesy animals or cartoons so it will be great in any room!!   There are no  distractions to keep Alice from going to sleep!!

Did you know that a toddler, age 1 to 3, should be getting a full 12 to 14 hours of sleep!?!?  I had no idea!!  From 4 to 6 should be getting 11 to 13 hours of sleep!

SleepBuddy was invented by a mother of five, teacher and certified sleep consultant. She knows her stuff.  The SleepBuddy is designed for children 18 months to 6 years old.

I’m Refreshing My Blog (and Exorcising Some Digital Ghosts)

Updating old blog content is a lot like digital archaeology. You head into the archives expecting to dust off a few old tutorials, and you end up unearthing questionable life choices from seven years ago. Between the aggressively over-filtered photos and advice that has aged like room-temperature milk, the past can be… loud.

But lately, I haven’t just been fighting my own cringey archives. I’ve been dealing with a full-on resident spirit: The Ghost of Peanut Butter and Whine.

This digital poltergeist has been causing absolute chaos behind the scenes, and frankly, its taste in content is terrible. If you’ve noticed things looking a little haunted around here, here is the proof:

  • The Video & Image Vanishing Act: Our resident ghost has been deleting my best images and helpful video tutorials, leaving behind sad, empty boxes where vibrant content used to live.
  • The Link Graveyard: In a truly sinister move, the spirit has been sneakily stripping away my trusted brand partners and replacing them with sketchy “AI Crypto” links. (I love peanut butter, but I am not shilling digital coins, I promise!)
  • Font Sabotage: Apparently, this ghost is trapped in 2001 because it keeps reverting my clean, modern text back to “Geocities-era” antique fonts.

My 2026 Blog Refresh Plan

I’m giving my archives a much-needed facelift to keep my blog traffic climbing and my readers happy. If you want to boost your own site’s performance, updating old blog content is the ultimate secret weapon.

Here is my step-by-step exorcism plan:

  1. Exorcise the 404s: I’m running a rigorous broken link checker to track down every dead end, missing video, and broken image this ghost left behind.
  2. Modernize the Recommendations: It’s time to swap out outdated products from years ago for my absolute 2026 essentials.
  3. SEO Deep Clean: I’m updating my metadata and ensuring my focus keywords are strategically placed in the headers and introduction for maximum search engine impact.

Stick Around Please!

Don’t let this be a “one and done” visit. While I’m cleaning house and banishing spirits, check out these (very much alive) links:
