Citronella! I swear by it. Just a couple of dabs (or it comes in a spray) on my temples and behind my ears and the pests leave me alone!

I remember being with my sister and mother visiting a friend where our summer cottage was- this lake was like a stagnant pond/swamp. We didn’t even know the mosquito’s were biting us until the next day when we were covered with the worst case of mosquito bites we ever had. They itched for weeks.
Rosanne
I learned that when they are biting that means they are breeding. I just thought it meant they were hungry.

We love to go camping a lot during the summer and the mosquitoes can be really bad. We light lots of citronella candles around our campsite in the evening and it seems to help.
Cathy French
This would definitely be a hit with kids. Fun idea.

Sorry I have no mosquito story.

I really like this set for the kids because it makes them aware of the nature around them. Letting them be hands on and explorative.

Don’t believe in Global Warming? Come on over to Ireland and check out the mozzies! We’ve got bigger & nastier ones than continental Europe and they were pretty much non-existant here 20 years ago.
