Tile Lock Scrabble GIVEAWAY!!!
Winning Moves has so many GREAT GAMES!!! From Crocodile Dentist which is still a HUGE hit with the Grandkids to Scrabble with Tile Lock! DH and I never seem to have enough time in the day to sit and play a game board together, so I came up with a running game of Scrabble!! The board sits on the table all the time. When your initial is on the board it’s your turn. I know it’s not a conventional way to play but, it works for us.
Scrabble has always been a family favorite for us. Now it’s a great on going battle game with DH. NOW if I could find something to do with these 4 I’s!!! FOUR!!! I see some if, it, is and in’s coming soon to our game.
Not only is playing Scrabble fun!! But it an awesome way to exercise your brain!!! According to a report by the Alzheimer’s Association, “5 million Americans are affected by Alzheimer’s disease.” Keeping your brain active is a necessary exercise! A game that stimulates the brain is a perfect way to get that brain exercise!! HELLO Scrabble!!
It’s not just a theory that ‘playing mental games keeps the brain active!’ The Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Centre did a study that showed the “risk of developing Alzheimer can be reduced by 47 percent by thought-provoking and mind-stimulating activities.” The Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Centre recommends forming a “Scrabble or Mahjong club” to make sure that something is done for the brain regularly.

My favorite game from Winning Moves when the whole family is playing is a toss up between Trouble (which is the Mr.’s favorite) and everyone’s favorite Sorry. We switch back and forth between these two a lot. If it’s just the Mr. & I and the kids are not playing it’s Scrabble. I like to play this in the evening when it’s quiet before bed because I found it to be relaxing and a great way to unwind. It’s a thinking game not a fast paced, exciting let’s scream game. I also have a couple of elderly friends that love Scrabble and I invite them for brunch and and a good game of Scrabble. Thank you for the giveaway! I am so excited. I hope I win!!
