Trail Cam Friday!
After last weeks trail cam FINGERPRINT mishap, (YES! I do hold a grudge!) The first thing I did was go out and clean the camera lens.
Lens cleaned. Here is what our guests were up to this week. First some “Hey, ummm move over’s” a few “dancin’ struttin’ their stuff-ers”
Then the snow bank that I had placed the trail cam on…… well, it melted and then there were 2 days of SKY!! And an EYE!
Camera attached to the tripod The Husband built for me and then there was some romance. (Outside. Tsk Tsk! Shame on you for that line of thinking! You know who you are! MISS BARBARA!!)
Then the turkeys showed up and wagged their tail feathers.
Then a couple of just plain cute little shots.
No bears, no raccoons and not mystery animals this time around. There is always next week!!
I was going to move the camera back to the area around my craft room. HOWEVER, it’s been snowing the last two days soooooooooo it looks like the trail cam stays where it is for now, between the house and barn.

Oh Connie, I envy you those mountains and the wildlife! That is one big wingspan on the bird! Eagle? You have eagles? I’m on my way …
Connie Gruning
Kate, We have TONS of Eagles here. Apparently Sandpoint is a major mating site for Eagles. I need to get a good picture for my ‘wild life’ wall or fame.

I love how the turkeys and the deer just hang with each other, lol. They’ll hang out together as long as the eatings good.
Connie Gruning
Tamra, they really don’t bother each other. I wouldn’t have believed it myself if I hadn’t seen it. NOWWWWWWWWWW when the bears arrive EVERYONE scatters!

I hear you on the smug prints on the glass! My kitchen sink is against a wall! It is so boring that I put a mirror that looks like a window. Not that I want to watch myself do dishes but you can see across the room out the large windows. I can see clear down the road. Love it, just not the water my husband splashes on the mirror every time. Of course he claims that is not him. REALLY! lol
Connie Gruning
Diane, RIGHT!?!? Ummmmmmmm hello?? It’s just us two in the house. Men! LOL!
Rosie
Your hubby would make a lousy criminal leaving his fingerprints on everything! I love the cam shots of the deer and the turkeys, it is amazing how much wildlife there is, and they all look so fat and sassy! No hungry critters.
Connie Gruning
Rosie, The Husband definitely would make a horrible criminal!
Our guests are well cared for. It’s funny on the mountain here one family whistles and deer (and turkeys) come runnin’. We shake the bucket and they came runnin’. Then there is a bell so, yeah these are some very happy animals.

I enjoy you Trail cam shots! Not sure the bears are awake just yet! Oh but they will make up for it in the spring. Button down the hatches or garbage cans and bird feeders. Fun thing here it has been kinda warm spell and we have had bears sited. Crazy year because the are usually still hibernating.
Connie Gruning
Diane, our neighborhood mountain watch folks said mountain lion and a brown bear have already been seen. This crazy weather!! Snow is melting like crazy. OHMGGGGG our road is going to be NASTY in the spring.

I would say the ‘dancers’ are fighting but there doesn’t seem to be another deer to be fighting with, lol. And one of those sky shots caught what must have been a dang big bird! An eagle, maybe? Impressive.
Connie Gruning
Tamra, The pictures immediately reminded me of Toy Story the toys get up walk around ……….well my deer stand up and walk around too! LOL!
THAT was a big bird. The Bald Eagles have arrived for all the trout. Soooooo could have been.
Shannon Holmes
Very pretty pictures! I love the deer the most.
Connie Gruning
Shannon me tooooo!! ME TOO!
Barbara
Lol, Miss Connie you really made me laugh this morning, guess I’ll always be a “thinker” haha?…do you know, I still have my “lie detector” test, do you remember that? Anyway I really love your trail cam photos, they are so much fun! Stay cozy, warm and happy, love Barb
Connie Gruning
Miss Barbara, I laughed and laughed when I posted that!!! Love YA!!
