Sunday Prayer List
This is the 2nd week of the Sunday Prayer Requests. I am co-hosting with my friend Sonya over at Sonya’s Happenings. I hope you will go over and see Sonya’s site! She’s a sweetheart!
As I said last week, I’m not a real religious person. I was raised Catholic. However, I haven’t been to church in years. I do believe in the higher power of God. I do say my prayers at night. I do believe in the power of prayer. I don’t think prayers need to be formal I think you can just TALK to God.
So many of us Peanuts could use a prayer said for them. Anytime you need it just stop by and request a prayer to be said in your name. You don’t have to say why. A simple “I could use some good thoughts this week” would be fine. If you want to elaborate feel free.
In return when you are talking to YOUR Higher Power mention the Peanuts that are in need. In this day and age, financial problems, health problems, loneliness, sadness are all around us. Maybe our little prayer group can make a difference. We won’t know until we try.

Thank you little Peanuts!! Last week I said I really needed a prayer said for me, I’ve been so sad lately. I just couldn’t shake the blues!!! THEN Monday the sun came out, without a single cloud in the sky! Getting outside and off the mountain I felt so MUCH BETTER!!!!!! I truly believe the power of prayer!!

I think this is a good idea. Whether you need prayers or you just believe good vibes or thoughts can help, or you just need to know others are thinking of you, it can help. As always, I need those good thoughts/prayers that my physical therapy will go well and I’ll get back on my feet.

It states in the Bible where he hears the prayers of the rightous, the widow and the fatherless. I think he hears the unrehearsed prayers from the heart. He knows our needs and He just wants our trust and to ask him. I know from my heart He has brought me out of the miery clay. Down to the deapths of complete dispear. I have suffered from severe depression from things that happened when I was a young girl. Affraid to say anything, or tell. I have suffered with this since I was 8 yers old. It all came out after he died. It was like that little girl all over again. I think if people were honest it happens 9 times out of 10. Forgiveness wasn’t as hard as the forgetting and the guilt I have carried for 52 years.
