Wet n Wild Makeup ROCKS!!!!!!

I admit it.  I am a makeup snob. I can’t afford super fancy make up that you get in specialty stores, but I don’t usually look at the inexpensive brands either. In particular Wet n Wild. I always assumed Wet n Wild was a young persons make up.  I’m smackin’ myself in the forehead now and asking myself WHY?!?!

I was offered a chance to review Wet n Wild CoverAll Pressed Powder.  After reading about this VisiBright Technology I thought, what the heck, let’s try it.

HOLY MOLY!!!  This stuff goes on like SILK!!! I’m serious, this stuff is amazing! It’s soft, it’s LONG lasting!! IT’s $2.99 people!!! I can have one in my make up bag at home, one in the diaper bag and I can put one in my purse for touch ups and I still haven’t spent what I normally do on ONE!!

My face feels amazing.  This airy, silky-smooth formula creates a polished finish that really does last all day!  This is NOT a powder that accentuates fine lines…. it makes them disappear!!  This covers my age spots! All due to VisiBright Technology that delivers a skin perfecting complex,  reducing the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots while hydrating skin’s natural collagen for a rejuvenating lift all day!!  There are plenty of shades to choose from.  I choose the medium and it’s a perfect match.

The Wet n Wild CoverAll Pressed Powder is $2.99 at Drugstore.com.

You know with Google you can find anything………..  I wanted to find a color blush swap for the very pricey $30 Nars Orgasm color.  Wanna know what people say??  WET n WILD Icon Blusher Pearlescent Pink 831E  $2.99!!  WHA??????

Now, how about lip color??  I have a horrible lip color addiction.  It’s insane really.  I have tubes of every color, I have gloss, I have stain…. and on and on and on.  Once again, have I ever checked out Wet n Wild? No. Of course not, that would have been too smart!!

Along with the CoverAll I was given the MegaLast Liquid Lip Color to review.

New MegaLast® Liquid Lip Color

  • I Can Bare It Shade
  • Lasts up to 8 Hours
  • For a Healthy-Looking, Plump Pout All Day
Intense liquid color with built-in moisturizer provides one-step application for weightless, ultra-conditioning wear that lasts up to 8 hours.  ElastiSilk™ formula combines flexible color adhesion with silky-smooth pigments for transfer-proof, even application.  Paraben-free formula conditions and moisturizes with vitamin E that helps promote anti-aging, protects the skin’s moisture barrier, and balances the lip’s natural hydration for a healthy-looking, plump pout all day.

Seriously! If you need your lip color to stay all day? This is the stuff.  The MegaLast Liquid Lip Color goes on like a liquid then dries in about 15 seconds to a dry stain.  It stays PUT!!  I’m not a huge fan of stay put lip colors I’ve used before because they dry my lips out way too much.  This MegaLast dried quickly but didn’t make my lips feel like chalk.  I added plain old chapstick as a top coat and I rocked this “I Can Bare It” shade ALL DAY LONG!!
Again…… .$2.99!!
I’m ordering some MegaLast Nail polish!!
I’ll be checking out their nail colors next!!  The color I see everywhere is this pinkish/brownish color.  Wet n Wild’s is called Wet Cement.  It’ll be coming home with me soon.  Same with this awesome red called “I red a good book” Nail polish.
MEGALAST Nail Color are $1.99!!
Lesson learned….. don’t be stupid a make up snob.

Disclosure I received complimentary products for the purpose of my review. No other compensation was provided. The opinions are mine and 100% honest. I have not been influenced in any way.

These are pretty good prices . Lipstick is so expensive now. I dont wear it anymore so it dont matter to me. But I do use a lot of finger nail polish and this to is a great price for that too. thanks for the info

I only use lipstick when I perform at concerts and don’t pay attention to it in general. I will look for this kind – good price.

Wow that is great! I too can’t afford the expensive stuff. Tried even being a consultant and just plain didn’t work for me. I hate the cheap stuff. This sounds awesome though. I am going to try it out. Thanks for sharing this information.

Diane we are so alike!! I was a consultant for MK for a long time… I’m just not pushy enough. Yup, so much alike…. Except the whole 6 granddaughter sleeping over at one time!! I’ve got 2 Grandkids here tonight and I’m exhausted!!! 3 and 4 years old and in the WHY stage. OH HOLY MOLY!! HOW do you do SIX AT ONCE?!?!?! I bow to you!

Wow…I’m gonna have to check out the lipstick. I always thought of them as an “off brand” that probably didn’t work as indicated. I have purchased the wet n wild because I needed a cheap red years ago. I can’t lose at $2.99 on the lipstick. I prefer the kind that stays on as the moisture kind feels wet and odd to me. Thanks for the heads up.

I can’t believe how expensive lipstick is. So for $2.99 it’s worth the risk. This lip color did last all day. It’s a great neutral shade too. I’m anxious to try the pink for summer.

I too have always thought of them as something for teens. Inexpensive means no good when it comes to make-up right? Guess I am totally wrong! There is a huge display at the CVS that I walk by every time I go in, guess now I will stop and look! Heck I will buy some and try it!
