Wholesale Halloween Review

For anyone new here: costumes are one of my favorite things EVER!!! The dress up box at Na Na’s house is LOADED with costumes!!

Sooooooo when I was offered a chance to review a costume from Wholesale Halloween Costumes  I was giddy!!  GIDDDDY!

It took me 3 days to decide which costume I wanted!
The selection is OUTSTANDING!!
The prices are AMAZING!!!

After much debate I choose the Toddler Raptor Costume.

When I opened the box I was BLOWN AWAY by this costume!!  My own kids never EVER had a costume this amazing ever! EVER!!!

The Raptor costume is soft!  Fleece blanket baby SOFT!!!
The Raptor is generous in size.  Eli is 2 years old.  This costume is a size 2/4 it’s not so big that he would trip while wearing.  It’s also large enough that he can wear it at Halloween and lots of dress up days in between.

The costume is SO WELL MADE!!! I’m seriously amazed at the quality of this costume!!  This costume is made to LAST!!

The back has velcro closures.  4 of them. Large strips of velcro so that even when playing this costume won’t come open.  One of my biggest pet peeves when my kids were little was costumes had small quarter inch of velcro just at the neck that little scrap of velcro ain’t  agonna hold that costume closed!!!  So I really am impressed with the closure on the costume and the head piece as well.

The feet.  LOVE THEM!!! Big stuffed feet with Raptor toes! The feet lay on top of the shoes and velcro strips go under the shoes or if you wanted you could put around the foot then inside the shoe.

The tail is not so long or bulky that the kids will fall or trip on. It’s also not going to destroy the inside of the house!!

The hands are more like a pocket! Brilliant!!  The kids can tuck the flap of the pocket into the wrist to keep their hands warm.

Okay seriously HOW COOL IS THIS EYE?!?!?!?!?   The eye is very securely inserted. I tried to see if little fingers could dig it out… didn’t budge!!

The velcro under the neck is a nice wide large piece it will stay on!!

If you want a costume that you can hand down or keep in a dress up box YOU WILL NOT go wrong shopping at Costume Discounters!!!

Eli and I give Costume Discounters 4 VERY enthusiastic thumbs UP!!  WAY UP!!!
The very generous folks at Costume Discounters have offered one Peanut Butter and Whine reader a gift certificate for $25.00!!  GOOD LUCK!!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Updating My SEO Because Even the Internet Needs a Good Declutter

If you’ve been poking around peanutbutterandwhine.com lately and thought, “Huh, something feels different,” congratulations. Your instincts are sharp and possibly paranormal.

I’m deep in the process of updating my SEO. Not the glamorous kind of update where confetti falls and Google personally thanks me, but the gritty, behind-the-scenes kind where old posts get dusted off, links get refreshed, and keywords are gently coaxed into behaving better. Think less makeover montage, more haunted house cleanup.

While revisiting early posts, I discovered something unsettling. Many of the original photos and videos have completely vanished. Not broken links. Not corrupted files. Gone. Poof. Into the digital ether. This can only confirm one thing: peanutbutterandwhine.com is haunted.

There is no other explanation. Sure, it could be old hosting changes, platform migrations, or me being wildly optimistic about my organizational skills a decade ago. But let’s be honest. It’s ghosts. Internet ghosts. Possibly annoyed by my early font choices.

So here I am, updating old posts with new images, clearer formatting, better internal linking, and SEO-friendly structure so Google can finally understand what I’ve been yelling into the void all these years. I’m also making sure posts connect to each other logically, like linking back to my ongoing fun stuff such as the Monthly $50 Your Way Giveaway right here:

Internal links help readers stick around, help search engines crawl the site, and possibly appease the spirits living in my archives.

I’m also adding relevant external links to trustworthy sources, because Google appreciates good neighbors. For example, SEO best practices straight from the pros over at Moz:

The goal isn’t to rewrite history. It’s to make sure my content is still useful, readable, and visible in a world where the internet changes faster than my craft room fills up.

If you stumble across a refreshed post, missing photos, or suspiciously improved clarity, just know it’s intentional. And if something disappears again overnight… I’ll be lighting a sage bundle and updating my alt text.

Stay tuned. The ghosts are watching. 👻Updating My SEO Because Even the Internet Needs a Good Declutter
