• Epica Turning Slicer Review

Today’s review is a helpful gadget!  Especially, this time of year, with all the baking!!  Not to mention being able to make dinners a snap!! We love scallop potatoes, but I HATE slicing all those potatoes.  NOT anymore!!!!!  This is the easiest and FASTEST I’ve EVER had potatoes and onions ready to bake before!!   Let me start from the beginning.  The Epica Turning Slicer is lightweight. But, super strong. There are suction cups on all four feet. (I wish they suctioned a little stronger, but that is my only complaint… )   The teeth and blades are SHARP!! These blades slice through potatoes and onions so easily with no pull or lag.  Seriously! Each potato and onion took less than a minute each. The Turning Slicer is compact.  There are 3 different blades. One is on the slicer ready to use.  The other two, go into this handy little slot underneath.  LOVE that!! Compact! I love that the slicer has teeth to hold the fruit or vegetable and above the blade is a circle blade (SUPER sharp too!)  It truly holds as you slice. So no more big kitchen knife and cutting board. First, I made slices.  Then…

  • 3 Little Piggies App Review

Three Little Piggies! CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!!  I just want to start right off with that.  This tried and true children’s story is now perfect for your iPad.  Alice watches and listens wide eyed!  The cute little piggies giggle and tumble when you touch them and by the touch of a finger you can build one of the three houses.   Alice LOVES being able to help the Big Bad Wolf blow the houses down.  (This kid cracks me UP!!)   I am THRILLED with the options that Three Little Piggies has.  We can sit together and follow along,  watching the words change color as the narrator reads them.  OR! I can put the story on Autoplay and hide the words, then it’s a true storytelling app. The houses build themselves. The piggies move along on their own.  I can click Listen & Play where you turn the pages as the narrator reads.  You can touch the piggies and build the houses. For the older kids Read Myself is the next option.  This is the perfect story for those beginner readers. That’s not all the options!!  Nope…. there are more!!  You can have a male or female voice read the…

Product reviews, product companies telling us more about their product and what they look for in a blogger? Reminders about giveaways that are ending and what giveaways and product reviews are coming. Questions from my followers as well. I would love some feedback!  Pretty please!!  (Keep into account this was a first to me… I got a little tongue tied and forgot a couple of product names…… I was nervous!) Blythe is such a gracious hostess, it did feel like I was sitting at the kitchen table with her. So once again, THANK YOU Blythe!!  Check out her weekly radio show Baby and Toddler Instructions Wednesdays 11am est.
