• Picaboo Counting Book Review

I am at it again!!!  Camera in HAND!!!  Photobook in MIND!!!  Who says that a photobook has to be a book of photos that center around a holiday or an event?  Why can’t a photobook be a LEARNING book?!? NO REASON at ALL!!!!!  I am thrilled to share with you an idea I had to make Alice her own counting book!!  Thank you Picaboo for letting this idea come to life!! So I present to you “Alice’s Family Teaches Her To Count!” I sent each of Alice’s Family members off with a task.  “Hold up x amount of fingers and take a picture of  that same number of ‘things’ to add to Alice’s photobook”. When each of the family number pictures were in I started Alice’s book. I have Picaboo on my computer desktop, one click and I’m up and running.  Add pictures I want to start with and click next.   This little box pops up.  I chose “From Scratch” so I can place pictures and text where I want.  The auto create is an awesome feature that makes photobooks even faster and easier!! What I love about Picaboo is that each step has a pop up.  When you…

Something has gone terribly wrong here!! All of my pictures from past posts have disappeared.  ALL-OF-THEM!!!!! My stomach is in knots!! I’ve left questions on several sites asking for help.  We’ll see what comes of that.  UGH!!!!!! Ohhhh happy MONDAY!!! Hoping this is something that can be fixed. If not…….. I just don’t know. I can save some……. when I go to the add photo box all the pictures (or most) are in there.  GRRRRRRRRRRRRR Hey Google! Look At ME!! • Signing Time on Demand Review

Signing Time on Demand is amazing!!   During the last week at Yosemite, I took along my laptop specifically for the Signing Time on Demand app for Alice.  She is mesmerized by Rachel Coleman!! Rachel Coleman is cheerful and engaging!  Alice will watch the video over and over.  As a matter of fact, the first night of the Yosemite trip we stayed in a hotel.  Alice was still wired from being in a car seat all day so I clicked open the Signing Time on Demand and Alice was totally entertained!!  We watched the video three times in that sitting alone! I’ve been teaching Baby Alice signing for toddlers and this is the second Signing Time with Rachel Coleman that I’ve had. Alice responds to Rachel better than any of the other learning dvd’s we have ever watched. What I love the most about this particular Signing Time is that it’s on my computer.  I don’t have to be online. Which means you can entertain and teach even when you are camping in the middle of nowhere!!  I don’t need an internet connection!! The On-Demand Player is amazing.  All the videos are listed to the right and ready to go…
