    DIY Homeowner Flowers

We’re moving quickly out of the gloom of winter now, the days are getting longer and brighter, but there’s still plenty of wind and rain to go around. Spring is here and while you might be happy to get out of the chill that doesn’t mean that there aren’t still a few risks to home, health and family you shouldn’t be aware of. Here’s how to get your home ready for a blooming great spring.   Keep on top of that garden The grass is starting to grow again and, with it, comes all the busyness of the garden. Weeds, overgrowth, vines and the like can easily start to take over your outdoors, so it’s important to start taking care of it early and often. Make a garden maintenance schedule that does a little bit every week and it will be much easier to stay on top of. Don’t forget to trim hedges and trees if you want to avoid leaves getting stuck in your gutters, leading to drainage problems and leaks. Watch out for those uninvited guests With the growing gardens, all the pests can come out to play, as well. Depending on where you live, your home could…

    Photo-A-Day SNUG Home Gym Stairs

Photo-A-Day SNUG Ohhhhhhh here I go again with my own weird interpretation of the prompt. I’ve told you tons of times how weird my house is laid out. Weird angles. Odd walls. HUGE rooms, teeny tiny laundry room. The corner of the basement bathroom has a very tight V shape that isn’t wide enough to host the trashcan. You can’t have a drawer there or a cabinet.  It’s just odd. The house has are 45 stairs each a different height and a different width. My SNUG prompt beats all those. The guest bathroom in the top floor has a beautiful large bathroom. It’s bigger than the master bathroom in the California house.  With a deep, soak worthy tub. I have to stretch out to keep from drowning. It’s a wonderful tub.  Beautiful pedestal sink. Tons of room. It’s a nice BIG bathroom. Here comes the SNUG. The toilet is so close to the tub. I mean we are talking you can’t put your leg between the tub and the toilet. YOU can however rest a razor between the tub and toilet. It is a SUPER SNUG fit!!   Now, IF it was a small room I would understand but there…
