Poop… okay BioBags actually

Big dogs nose

Poop.  Yup, today we are talkin’ poop.

Poop bags
Gracie has been reviewing poop bags for BioBag Compostable bags.   Gracie is a ‘big boned’ girl so she uses the large bags.
Things Gracie and DH especially like about the bags are the size, they are big enough for DH’s hand and sturdy enough to not fall apart at the seams. (That right there deserves a 2 paws UP!)
The bags are compostable.  (VERY cool!!)
There is a hole in the center that makes it really easy to hold on to and to attach to the wall.  The bag itself is big enough that you can easily knot it when it’s full. (Okay not FULL exactly… but when Gracie is done)
Since these are compostable bags they don’t hold the ‘smell’ very well, but it’s a small price to pay to have a bag that doesn’t hurt Mother Earth don’tcha think?
All-n-All Gracie says “woof bark woof woof” which vaguely translates to “Thank you Biobag, we give you 2 paws up”
(I did take some liberties with the exact wording)
BioBags has all types of bags. Kitchen, yard and even shopping bags. Check ’em out won’t you?
BioBags is also on Facebook. Go say Hi!
I really like the mission statement from the BioBag Company so I wanted to include it with my review: Poop bagsTogether we can begin…
Changing The World Without Changing The E arth
BioBag Compostable
Using BioBags extends your waste disposal options. Dog Waste Bags don’t only have to be used for dogs. Many of our animal-loving customers use the dog waste bags to discard of scoopable litter for their cats and to discard of the cage waste from all sorts of small animals including hamsters, birds, reptiles, rabbits and more!
  • The waste and the bag can be thrown in your backyard compost, where both items can decompose naturally. Be sure to do your research about home dog waste composting before adding any dog waste to your backyard compost piles. To kill pathogens typically found in dog waste, high temperatures (131 degrees Fahrenheit or higher) are needed consecutively for at least 3 days. Under no circumstances should cat waste be composted.

The waste and bag can be buried, where micro-organisms will consume both.

Pet Waste Bags come in three options: Standard Size, Large Size and on a Roll.

This is what organic waste separation is all about. We thank you for being concerned, responsible pet owners. We thank you for using BioBag Pet Waste Bags.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Note: Compostable bags containing pet waste can be buried or added to compost. But in a landfill without air, light, heat and access to microbes, compostable bags do not degrade any better than plastic bags degrade. In anaerobic digestion scenarios (biodigesters, etc.) compostable bags do not break down. Do not flush compostable bags. There are flushable bags made for this purpose.
