This may seem small: one of our grown from seed tomato plants FINALLY produce it’s first RED RIPE Tomato today! Most years we start getting plentiful, delicious tomatoes in mid-June ~ but thanks to the crazy weather we’ve been having, everything is out of whack! We never know what to expect anymore!
So our first (long awaited) Tomato was reason enough to smile and savor it with a little bit of our homemade fresh Mozzarella and home grown freshly cut Sweet Basil!

This post and a cup of coffee! So far today my kitchen flooded from a broken water main and the shut off to the house doesn’t work. The dryer died and I have wet clothes in the washer right now and the dryer. Did I mention that the clothes that are wet in the dryer is a load of towels. Yup that’s right no towels to help mop up the gallons of water except 4 towels that were still clean. Two hours later the house is no longer flooded but still no water until the shut off is fixed. The dryer and water still doesn’t work and I’m just now drinking my first cup of coffee. So far today this post and a cup of coffee has made me happy. Hopefully this day will end soon.

It was decided today that my daughter only needs every other week speech therapy, once a week. This is down from twice a week. She’s 16 and was in a very serious car accident March 6th which left her dead at the scene. God breathed life back into her and she was in a coma for 10 days on life support. She’s now almost back to 100%, this soon after a traumatic brain injury that’s a huge miracle! I praise God daily!

LOL, well it is really early here but there is one thing that made me happy already. Little Bit, AKA LB (one of the kitties) is so herp the derp. So I see her, and she is wigging out. Which isn’t unusual or anything. She is jumping on furniture, trying to get to something. I look up and it is a spider and she is crying because she cannot get it. I should have patted her on the back ALA Liz Lemon and said, “It okay! Don’t be cry!” LMAO.
