Check out this great activity coloring bookMeet Lulu!! Meet Lulu is a coloring activity book with an environmental message. Lulu and her friends, Milky, Bob, Max, Toby, Jill, Lucy, Rudy, and Tom teach a lesson about being a friend to the earth. #paintinglulu

This is a 2-in-one coloring book with a great message behind it. Recycle! Reuse!

So many things to love about this coloring book! First, it’s a physical coloring book with a great twist! Each page of the physical coloring book has a QR code, scan the QR code and that page goes directly to my iPad. It’s so easy, pick the page in Lulu’s Coloring Book that you want to reproduce on your device. Your device will open Painting Lulu’s Web App page, once the digital version of the page you scanned pops up kids can color with the digital crayon stylus that was included with Lulu’s Coloring Book and color away!! That is SO COOL!! Alice thinks NaNa has magic powers!

Lulu’s friends are recyclable consumer goods that represent a part of the life cycle of environmentally friendly products. I LOVE the message in this coloring book! The message behind these adorable characters teach kids that when you finish using things like a milk carton, you should recycle or reuse the container.
Alice and I went through Meet Lulu and scanned all the pictures so that she can color them over and over on the iPad! I LOVE that!! This is a coloring book that all three of the Grandkids can color over and OVER again!!

The Meet Lulu Coloring Book comes with a crayon stylus that looks EXACTLY, I do mean EXACTLY, like one of those bigger crayons! I actually took the stylus and rubbed it on a paper to be certain it wouldn’t color my iPad! When I handed the crayon to 3 year old Alice, she looked at me like I had lost my mind!

Meet Lulu is meant for kids 3 and over. I would suggest giving the stylus to a little older child, Alice had the soft tip of the stylus off in the first 5 minutes. GOOD news! A little glue and the top re-attached and has held since. Emma is 5 and has a much gentler touch with the stylus.

Meet Lulu digital is a great app, kids can colors the pages with digital markers, paint brushes or crayons. There is an eraser too. FUN! Great message! What more could you ask for?

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Refreshing My Old Blog Posts: The Good, The Bad, and The 404s

Updating an old blog post is a lot like an archaeological dig. You expect a quick “dusting” and end up unearthing a series of questionable life choices from 2014.

I recently opened a “quick update” only to find:

  • Missing Images: Key tutorial steps now require “imagination.”
  • Dead Links: Half my brand partners have rebranded as “AI Crypto Collectives.”
  • Antique Fonts: Styles that haven’t been cool since the dial-up era.

Why I’m Optimizing This Blog

It’s not glamorous, but fixing broken links and whispering “Pick me!” to Google makes the site faster and easier for you to find. I’m not spiraling; I’m just cleaning up the blog ghosts.
