FarFaria Review And Giveaway
FarFaria is an app for the iPad, iPhone, and Android devices. An AMAZING APP!!! With this app I have unlimited access to over 800 different ILLUSTRATED children’s books. Added bonus: each book has the narration option available! With NEW books being added every week!!
I’m thoroughly in love with this app for so many reasons. First, the app was created for kids 2 to 9 years old. Perfect for my three Grandkids!! Emma is 6 and can read several of the stories on her own! Eli and Alice are starting to read, so this app will actually grow with THEM!!
With FarFaria, kids are developing a passion for reading!! At 6, Emma would already rather read than play outside. Alice will cuddle for hours if you are reading to her.
Not only can kids read these books to themselves, but kids can have the stories read out loud to them, following the words as they are read. FarFaria makes it fun to spend quality time together, reading and laughing. This app is perfect at bedtime; first Emma reads a story, then we listen to a story.

Let’s Refresh This Really OLD Post Shall We?
Updating my blog’s SEO now ranks right up there with cleaning behind the fridge. Necessary. Honorable. Mildly traumatizing. 7865 posts to go through. The Head Peanut is NOT amused.
What started as a “quick refresh” turned into a full-blown excavation.
I opened a five-year-old (plus) post and found:
- Half the images missing.
- Links leading to businesses that now exist only in legend.
- A font choice clearly made during a caffeine-fueled identity crisis.
Welcome to the glamorous life.
Somewhere in the depths of my site lives The Ghost of PBnWhine Past. It floats through old posts, deleting photos like a Victorian librarian with a vendetta.
“Oh, you needed those step-by-step craft photos?”
Gone.
“That beautifully staged product review?”
Into the abyss.
Now the tutorials read like this:
Step 1: Do the thing
Step 2: [image missing]
Step 3: Just believe in yourself
Extremely helpful. Gold star content.
And the links? Nothing builds character like clicking a reference and landing on:
Error 404: This business has retired to Florida.
Apparently half the brands I worked with have closed, rebranded, or reemerged as something called “Crypto Spoon AI Wellness Collective.” Time is a fever dream.
So here I am, playing archaeologist with Wi-Fi. Replacing images. Fixing links. Adding keywords. Gently whispering to Google, “Notice me. I bring snacks.”
It’s not glamorous, but it makes the blog faster, cleaner, and easier to find. Which means more crafts, more reviews, more giveaways — and fewer digital tumbleweeds.
Speaking of treasures…

Because nothing complements freshly polished SEO like free stuff.
And if you love a good find, Freebie Flow is basically a treasure chest of freebies and seriously discounted goodies. Use code PBNWhine10OFF for 10% off:

Also, if you’re not using Rakuten yet, what are we even doing? Getting paid to shop feels delightfully rebellious — like dessert first, but fiscally responsible:

So if you catch me muttering at my laptop, swatting invisible ghosts with a broom made of metadata, don’t worry.
I’m not spiraling.
I’m optimizing.
Which, in blogger terms, means battling digital poltergeists, resurrecting broken links, and shamelessly courting search engines with fresh content.
Completely normal.

My favorite book when I was a kid was Treasure Island and Nancy Drew mysteries. I just love the suspense of it all. Thank you for sharing this giveaway with us.

I think my granddaughters would love to read 5 little monkeys jumping on the Bed! There would be an abundance of laughter in our house during reading time.
