CHIC.U 1950’s Vintage Floral Spring Garden Party Picnic Dress #Vintagedress
How fun is this dress?? So retro, so vintage!! SO MUCH FUN!! Absolutely a fun dress for summer. It makes me smile to wear this dress.
The pattern is bright and colorful. The dress has a black background with large white polkadots throughout the dress, there are bright red cherry’s scattered throughout the dress.
This retro dress is made of excellent material; 94% Cotton, 6% Spandex. There is a hidden zipper that goes down past the waist so it is easy to get in and out of the dress. There are also ties at the waist that are long enough to make a bow in the back.
The dress is very well made! There isn’t a loose stitch or defect anywhere. The top of this dress is lined and has enough stretch to it that it will fit a large range of bust sizes. The bottom of the dress is nice and thick and will not need a slip under it. There is plenty of material in the skirt of this dress to make it a true swing dress.
I’ve washed this dress in the machine and tossed it in the dryer and it looks amazing time after time! I am thoroughly pleased that there is no shrinkage, no fading and no wrinkles!! SWEET!
This retro picnic dress lands a couple of inches below my knees; the perfect length on my 5’5″ frame.
WHINES
I do wish that the waistband and ties were down just a little further; when you have the tummy bulge (like I do) you really want to hide it not accentuate it. As I lose weight this will look a lot better on me other that I have no other whines. The dress is well made and absolutely adorable!!

High-waisted dresses just don’t suit me & my belly roll or the big boobs. I tend to look like a battle ship in full sail! I much prefer a straight shift shape or a dropped waist.
