BakeItFun Baking Mat Review

Let’s talk CONVENIENT!!! This Non-Stick Silicone Baking Mat from BakeItFun is SO COOL!!! For MANY reasons!! First, well, it’s cool looking!! I know you’re thinking so? Why is that a reason to buy a baking mat?  Because of the ruler all the way around the mat AND the circles where the cookies go, for PERFECTLY spaced cookies every time!!  For me, the cookie circles are one of my favorite parts, because my baker buddy is 3-years-old!!

This mat is safe to bake with, super strong and durable. You can use this mat in the oven up to 450°F AND it can go from the freezer to the oven and even into the microwave!  This mat is made of a fiberglass mesh and the highest quality food-grade silicone. All 100% food safe materials. The fibers mesh works with the silicone to provide perfect heat distribution and promotes even baking and browning.  I even left a batch of cookies in the oven just a little longer than normal, with my old method, using just cookie sheets I would have had burnt cookies.  Instead, I had perfectly browned cookies but not a single burnt one in the bunch!!  The BakeitFun mat is 0.7mm thick, just the right thickness to make it resistant and flexible.

Storing this mat is super easy too! I just roll it back up and put it in the box and store it with my cookie sheets.

I am thrilled with this baking mat!! I have evenly browned, perfectly baked goods every single time!! I can literally wipe this mat off with a paper towel, and it’s clean!!  I couldn’t be more pleased!!

I give BakeItFun two very enthusiastic thumbs WAY, Way, WAY UP!!!

I was going to leave this BakeItFun Baking Mat at my daughter’s house, but the cookies slid off so fast, SO easily, and the mat cleaned so PERFECTLY that it went home with me. I did, however, leave her the cookies.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Let’s Refresh This Really OLD Post, Shall We?

I mean, hello! This giveaway has been over for YEARS! WAY OVER!

Updating my blog’s SEO now ranks right up there with cleaning behind the fridge. Necessary. Honorable. Mildly traumatizing. 7865 posts to go through. The Head Peanut is NOT amused.

What started as a “quick refresh” turned into a full-blown excavation.

I opened a five-year-old (plus) post and found:

  • Half the images missing.
  • Links leading to businesses that now exist only in legend.
  • A font choice clearly made during a caffeine-fueled identity crisis.

Welcome to the glamorous life.

Somewhere in the depths of my site lives The Ghost of PBnWhine Past. It floats through old posts, deleting photos like a Victorian librarian with a vendetta.

“Oh, you needed those step-by-step craft photos?”
Gone.

“That beautifully staged product review?”
Into the abyss.

Now the tutorials read like this:

Step 1: Do the thing
Step 2: [image missing]
Step 3: Just believe in yourself

Extremely helpful. Gold star content.

And the links? Nothing builds character like clicking a reference and landing on:

Error 404: This business has retired to Florida.

Apparently half the brands I worked with have closed, rebranded, or reemerged as something called “Crypto Spoon AI Wellness Collective.” Time is a fever dream.

So here I am, playing archaeologist with Wi-Fi. Replacing images. Fixing links. Adding keywords. Gently whispering to Google, “Notice me. I bring snacks.”

It’s not glamorous, but it makes the blog faster, cleaner, and easier to find. Which means more crafts, more reviews, more giveaways — and fewer digital tumbleweeds.

So if you catch me muttering at my laptop, swatting invisible ghosts with a broom made of metadata, don’t worry.

I’m not spiraling.

I’m optimizing.

Which, in blogger terms, means battling digital poltergeists, resurrecting broken links, and shamelessly courting search engines with fresh content.

Completely normal.

I could really use this. My cookies spread out into each other, and I can’t seem to get them nice and lined up right, this would solve that, and give me a good excuse to make cookies more often!

What a great product. I love the idea of having markings to show where to put the cookie dough and oh man, my cookie sheets have been through a lot. This would make clean up a breeze!

I just absolutely love these silicone mats for baking. No more burned baked goods and no more burned pans! What’s not to love! I really like the BakeItFun Baking Mat with all the hints right on the mat for perfect spacing. Thanks for sharing.
