A Blast From The Past! Halloween 2012!!

I decided to add a BLAST from THE Past Post today. The weather is cooler; I’m sleepy and I am just going to bed early!! How about that?!?! So I picked a random date and viola! October 2012!

Are you ready for cuteness overload????  This is the Infant Toddler Baby Bat Costume an animal dress up costume from Wholesale Halloween Costumes. Seriously!! WHC my FAVORITE costume site EVER!!!!!  Is this little bat not the cutest costume ever?!!??!  Feel free to leave comments galore about the adorableness!!

Now for the details… the costume itself is soft! Almost like a velvet, it’s a soft one piece black jumpsuit with a detachable hood.
The legs of the costume have  large, heavy duty snaps which makes diaper changes super easy and means the snaps won’t rip out  after the first change!!
The belly of the Baby Bat ensemble is purple with orange faux stitching, screen printed orange bow tie with black detail and three green screen printed buttons. The light purple wings have faux orange stitch detail. The bat wings are attached with the same heavy duty snaps as well. SO smart!! The wings stayed on during a Halloween party and The Halloween on Elm Festival in Carlsbad CA.  The finishing touch is the black bat hat (say that 3 times fast!) featuring purple ears with orange detail, a tuft of purple hair, googly white bat eyes, and white fangs, around the face is lined in soft orange material. Seriously! How cute is this costume?!?!

Now, for me, one of the most exciting part of this costume… well, other than that cute little baby wearing it! is the bottoms of the feet have rubber grips! BRILLIANT!!!!  Alice was steady on her feet. This is the SMARTEST idea for a toddler costume ever!!  I can’t rave enough about the rubberized grip feet!!

I’m also impressed the way the costume shines at night. When lights hit the costume it glows which gives this costume a night time safety bonus!

Be sure to check out Wholesale Costumes for the dress up games for animals. Create A Creature is my favorite!

And one more note of interest…  I’m pretty sure POSITIVE I saw Captain Jack Sparrow in at the Halloween on Elm in Carlsbad. YUM!!
