Blog Dare: The most underused item in my house.
The most underused item in my house……… hummmm too many unused items anymore! The treadmill is a given… it’s buried in the back of the house. The oven… it’s been a long time since I’ve baked anything!! The desk in my office……. again buried in the back of the house. My sewing machine piled high with projects I never get around to doing. Mostly I spend my days playing with Alice (on Monday and Wednesday Alice and Eli together!!) I’m taking my Gran’ma job very seriously!! I play. ALL DAY!! Everything else? Underused….. vacuum… dusters…. the phone! All of it!! When I was a new mommy I cross stitched a saying:
“Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow,
for children grow up, I’ve learned to my sorrow.
So, settle down cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep.”
But, I was young…. and it was just a cute saying I didn’t pay REAL attention to the words. But, I’m older now and I’m taking every SINGLE word to heart!!!
