Camping with a Toddler!! What’s your advice, hints and ideas??

Getting ready for our annual trek to Yosemite.  This year promises to be a lot of fun.  Alice will be just a week shy of 2!!

So my wonderful camping followers……. do you have ‘must make’ camp fire meals?

Do you have activities for toddlers??

Do you have ‘MUST take’ toddler products that we should pack?

What are your favorite products that you take camping?

Our trip to Yosemite will last for a full week.

4 Adults…. one crazy two year old.

Thank you so much for your help and idea’s!!

The ket for me was activities. I took my kids camping for the first time last year and it was awesome. they were 2.5 and 4. Their favorite activity was a nature scavenger hunt (nothing har, things like “a yellow flower” or “a flat rock”). They went nuts over that. I also brought paint and we did leaf and rock prints. Anso shovels and buckets for digging around in the sand/dirt. And their own water bottles, they liked filling them at the water station themselves.

For meals I’ve totally falled in love with “shake and pour” pancake mix for camping. Grilled cheese, spaghetti, and cold-cuts are all big favorites that travel well. i

I agree with wipes as well. But my son always had problems with his allergies whenever we traveled. As much as I hated to give him meds, sometimes baby benadryl came in handy. And if you have them sunglasses for Alice!
