Not Sleeping Well? 7 Factors Affecting Sleep and Your Sleep Quality
In the hustle and bustle of modern life, a good night’s sleep is often overlooked, yet it plays a crucial role in our overall well-being. Many factors can impact the quality of our sleep, resulting in restless nights and groggy mornings. Understanding these factors is the first step toward reclaiming a peaceful and restorative slumber. In this exploration, we delve into seven common elements that impact the quality of your sleep, shedding light on how to address them for a rejuvenated and refreshing rest. 1. Sleep! Ahhhh Blissful Sleep. PLEASE!!!!
Growing up I wondered why my Grandma never seemed to sleep. She was always up so early in the morning. Then the older my Mom got the earlier she was awake. Now I think them b&$#+(%’s passed it down to ME!?! Why??? That’s just rude. I’m certain it’s more of that Karma stuff. (Yeah, yeah, teen years ….. blah blah blah). Now, put me on the couch? Pffffffttttttt I can fall asleep almost instantly, in the most uncomfortable positions. What’s up with THAT!? So, I trudge upstairs, cuddle up in bed and…… and…… and….. yup I stare at the ceiling. Drum my fingers on my stomach. THEN! My mind starts to get in on that action. Ya know, you really need to wash all the bathroom rugs, when was the last time you did an inventory of the pantry? Oh my gosh! That would make a cute t-shirt (Do I REMEMBER what that was!?!?! noooooooo of course not!). Have I posted anything to Instagram lately? Have I? I wonder if… did I put anything out for dinner tomorrow. YUP! Inside my mind is a scary, scary place. It’s messy, but don’t move anything if you look inside. I know where…
Bedphones! Perfect Sleep Headphones!
I have a heck of a time getting to sleep at night. I started listening to relaxation MP3’s. These work great….. other than the whole uncomfortable ear-buds I have. I’m THRILLED to share with you my review of Bedphones! These are the most comfortable sleep headphones designed specifically for sleep!! These are less than ¼” total in thickness. You will not find thinner headphones ANYWHERE!!! The folks over at Bedphones truly know what they are doing! The Bedphones arrive in their own carrying case, with a bonus satin eye mask!! How nice is THAT?!?! There are also an additional 2 sets of foam covers for the headphones. The sturdy little carrying case is so convenient! There is a place for my Bedphones and sleep mask. AWESOME!! Since the Bedphones are only ¼” thick they are so comfortable for a side sleeper like myself. I don’t feel them on my ears! The earhook is made of a rubber coated memory wire. I can adjust them anyway I want them and they don’t fall off!! I toss and turn and these stay in place!! The memory wire makes it so easy to bend for a custom fit just FOR ME!! Another bonus,…
