Homecoming Dresses!! Dress First!!
Back to school means it’s time to look for the perfect homecoming dress. When my girls were shopping for their dresses, we drove all over town trying to find that perfect dress. Now you don’t even have to leave the house to find the perfect homecoming dresses!
Dress First has pages and pages of dresses. Long, short, spaghetti strap, every color under the sun! I have to admit dresses are a lot different from just sixteen years ago. WAIT….WHAT?!?!
My girls have been out of school 16 years?!?!? WHAT?!?! MAN, where does the time go?!?! I don’t think my girls had so many options with dresses either. The dresses are so fancy, with so many embellishments!

So sophisticated, so grown up!!
While I was checking out Dress First I HAD to look at their Wedding Dresses. I couldn’t help myself! I HAD to look!! Check out the dress on the right!! Doesn’t this make you want to get married again!! It does me!! Isn’t it stunning?!?!
Every single event you can think of Dress First has the perfect dress. I think I’ll go plan my wedding now, while you check out homecoming dresses.
I’d love to know which dresses you love. Are the girls in your life planning on going to Homecoming? Is it too geeky to go in school colors??
I’m Refreshing My Blog (and Exorcising Some Digital Ghosts)
Updating old blog content is a lot like digital archaeology. You head into the archives expecting to dust off a few old tutorials, and you end up unearthing questionable life choices from seven years ago. Between the aggressively over-filtered photos and advice that has aged like room-temperature milk, the past can be… loud.
But lately, I haven’t just been fighting my own cringey archives. I’ve been dealing with a full-on resident spirit: The Ghost of Peanut Butter and Whine.
This digital poltergeist has been causing absolute chaos behind the scenes, and frankly, its taste in content is terrible. If you’ve noticed things looking a little haunted around here, here is the proof:
- The Video & Image Vanishing Act: Our resident ghost has been deleting my best images and helpful video tutorials, leaving behind sad, empty boxes where vibrant content used to live.
- The Link Graveyard: In a truly sinister move, the spirit has been sneakily stripping away my trusted brand partners and replacing them with sketchy “AI Crypto” links. (I love peanut butter, but I am not shilling digital coins, I promise!)
- Font Sabotage: Apparently, this ghost is trapped in 2001 because it keeps reverting my clean, modern text back to “Geocities-era” antique fonts.
My 2026 Blog Refresh Plan
I’m giving my archives a much-needed facelift to keep my blog traffic climbing and my readers happy. If you want to boost your own site’s performance, updating old blog content is the ultimate secret weapon.
Here is my step-by-step exorcism plan:
- Exorcise the 404s: I’m running a rigorous broken link checker to track down every dead end, missing video, and broken image this ghost left behind.
- Modernize the Recommendations: It’s time to swap out outdated products from years ago for my absolute 2026 essentials.
- SEO Deep Clean: I’m updating my metadata and ensuring my focus keywords are strategically placed in the headers and introduction for maximum search engine impact.
Stick Around Please!
Don’t let this be a “one and done” visit. While I’m cleaning house and banishing spirits, check out these (very much alive) links:
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: Check out the sidebar for my current giveaway. I promise this one is fully alive, kicking, and ghost-free!
Earn Cash: Some things never go out of style. Rakuten still pays you to shop, and in this economy, who is turning down free money?
