Easy@Home 3-n-1 Non-contact Infrared Thermometer Review
Here is another product that I wish was around when my kids were little! This is the Easy@Home 3 in 1 Non-contact Infrared Thermometer. What makes this thermometer stand out from others is the fact it has three modes; one for body, one for the room and another for surfaces. All in one handheld awesome device.
The thermometer comes in a solid carrying case so that I can take it with me if I desire.
The Easy@Home Thermometer needs two AAA batteries; which is included!! That is a huge bonus for me. The thermometer fits easily in my hand and is approximately 5″ long and almost 4″ wide at its thickest point.
Under the display there are three buttons Mode, ºC/ºF and for Mem for Memory. Use the large button to take temperature measurements. The small blue button on the right side turns the sounds on and off, the display will light up and say On or Off. That’s a great feature.
To use the Easy@Home thermometer push the large gray button which turns the unit on. The display lights up green; then simply point and press that same large button again. Instantly you will get a very accurate reading! If you want to check the temperature of the room or an object simply use the first of the smaller buttons to change the mode.
The display is bright and easy to read with large number and letters; added bonus the thermometer has color warnings, green for normal, yellow for low fever and red for high fever.
Experience quick and simple temperature taking with the Easy@Home NCT-301 non-contact, infrared thermometer. This easy to use thermometer has the latest infrared technology to display accurate readings within a second. There is no longer any physical contact necessary to get a temperature reading, it should always be this easy!
Non-Invasive:
Instead of startling or irritating your children, this thermometer reads at a distance and notifies you silently. Eliminating physical contact decreases the chance of cross contamination between users while silent monitoring will not disturb them. The thermometer has a beeping sound to alert for high temperatures, however this feature can be disabled so that no sound emits while taking measurements.
Tri-Color Display:
The LCD display will show one of three colors based on the temperature. Not only does this display make reading temperatures easier in the dark, but the three colors indicate different ranges. A green display (99.1°F (37.3°C)) indicates normal temperature, yellow display 99.3°F~100.2°F (37.4°C~37.9°C) indicates low-fever and red display 100.4°F (38°C) indicates high-fever.
How to Take Temperature:
1.Clear forehead area of any hair or perspiration.
2.In ‘Body’ mode (default), aim to the center of the forehead from a distance of 1.2 – 2 inches.
3.Press the scan button and wait a second for the display to show the reading.
I compared this thermometer to my in ear thermometer and my under the tongue; the Easy@Home the ear thermometer and Easy@Home were just .2 degrees off. Under the tongue and Easy@Home were dead on. That’s pretty darn accurate. The best part of this thermometer is the fact it’s non-contact! We aren’t passing germs back and forth. Another awesome perk is being able to take the temperature of a sleeping kid and not having to disturb them! Just point!!
WHINES
Nope, can’t think of a single one! I think it’s important to have an accurate thermometer in the house and we definitely found ours.
