eBoot 5000mAh Solar Panel Charger Review

Finally, a charger I can take camping with me that doesn’t require me to start my car!! I couldn’t be more thrilled with my new eBoot Solar Panel Charger! Not only does my solar charger charge all of my electronics from my iPad4, Samsung Galaxy S4, and my Kindle. I love the rugged look of the eBoot Solar Charger! It’s rainproof! Waterproof and dustproof! PERFECT for camping in Yosemite! Trips to the beach or a day at the park.
Since it is so rugged and compact it’s easy to attach to my backpack for camping and since it’s solar I will always have a fully charged charger while I’m hiking!!

When we aren’t out camping or hiking the eBoot fits easily into my purse; it’s only 5.6″ by 3″ and only 0.6″ thick.

What’s in the box?

The eBoot charger, micro USB cable; carabiner. I love that the folks at eBoot think to add the carabiner. It really makes it easy to attach my charger to my backpack.

Straight out of the box the Solar Panel Charger arrived almost fully charged which was very convenient. Which you can see by the 4 LED lights along the top of the charger. LOVE the 4 LED lights, I know exactly how much power my charger has left.  My Galaxy S4 takes 2 full bars for a 100% charge. My iPad also takes 2 full bars.

Charging the eBoot is super easy, either in sunshine, an overcast day or a wall charger. Charging in full sunshine took less than 6 hours. Charging my devices is fairly quick as well. 4 hours and my phone was fully charged.

The ports are covered to keep dirt and debris out of it.

WHINES

Not a single one!! I can keep my electronics fully charged whether I’m at the park or camping!! Works PERFECTLY!! Each and every single time!! The added flashlight just makes this charger even more perfect for camping!!

I can’t wait for our next Yosemite camping trip!!!
