Gorgeous Pots for Pretty Plants: A Self-Watering Lifesaver
Today, I am showing off my green thumb again. Remember a while ago I shared my drama queen orchid and her new home? Today, I am ready to talk about upgrading my favorite plants from a temporary jar to a stunning pot that it can actually thrive in.
I recently opened a package from BUYMAX, and my eyes lit up like Christmas morning when I saw this beautiful piece of pottery! Then, my head tilted, and my mind went, “Ummm, what?” (Yes, I DO GET OUT! I honestly do! I scroll the internet. I learn stuff. I DO know things. HONEST!) But this particular piece of pottery completely confused me at first glance.

The Magic Self-Watering Pot
This is a SELF WATERING pot!!! WAIT!! WHAT!? Please, please tell me this is a new plant pot design to you as well? Please. Even if you have to lie to me to make me feel better, just say it!
It completely takes the hydration guesswork out of raising healthy plants.
Specifically, this is the 6 Inch Ceramic Self-Watering African Violet Pot in Kiln Glazed Blue & White. If blue isn’t your color, it also comes in a stunning Kiln Glazed Green!
How Stunning Is This Pot?

I don’t actually have an African violet plant right now—I haven’t had one in years, though now I feel like I absolutely need one. What I did have was a Begonia Lucerna starter plant sitting in a jar of water. For (embarrassingly) at LEAST a year! GESH! Bad plant Mom.
Beautiful Pots Matter for Indoor Plants
Moving this beautiful plant, into it’s gorgeous new pot, changed the whole vibe of my room. I swear the plant even SIGHED at me in relief! I think she likes her new home!
Added Bonus For Forgetful Plant Parents
If you’re like me and occasionally forget your watering schedule (Okay, SO OFTEN! How are my plants still alive?), these self-watering beauties are actual plant lifesavers.
