Hydrating with Peptides – A Renewal Complex

Excel Renewal ComplexExcel Skincare does just that!! It EXCELS at providing quality skincare at very reasonable prices. Finding a product that I can actually afford AND does the job it claims, is sometimes a very daunting task. I have very oily skin so finding a product that not only hydrates and firms my skin but doesn’t leave me looking shiny and greasy is really hard to do.

I was offered the chance to review Excel Skincare’s Hydrating With Peptides; Renewal Complex and of course you know me! I jumped at the chance. This complex has everything I look for in a moisturizer and then some!! Ingredients that not only makes my skin feel great but a product that also helps me to Reduce Fine Lines and Wrinkles!!?? I’m IN!!

Syn®-Coll, a unique peptide which mimics the human body’s own mechanism to produce collagen with skin firming and lifting effects.
Hyaluronic acid is the body’s natural hydrator responsible for water re-tension of cells in the dermal layer assist in absorption and deliverance of active ingredients by binding moisture to the epidermal skin layer.
Matrixyl® 3000, a dual peptide which functions having an anti-wrinkle efficacy. Also assists in cell repair and renewal at the cellular matrix through its healing capabilities.
ArgirelineTM, a neuropeptide which functions to relax facial muscle tension, thereby significantly reducing the spread angle of wrinkles.

This is a clear, thin serum which glides on your face and for me 1 application is perfect. 1 PUMP and I am able to moisturize my entire face and neck. If you have really dry skin you may want to apply a second coat. The Renewal Complex absorbs quickly and feels so good on. There is the faintest of scents. A clean scent but it goes away so fast that I’m not sure if I am imagining it or not!

This Hydrating Renewal Peptide Complex from Excel Skincare has delivered noticeable improvement to my skins texture and tone. You can actually FEEL it tightening your skin.

WHINES

I’m not crazy about the container. I’ve had a couple of times where the pump has gotten stopped up. Not a big deal and definitely not a whine towards the complex itself. I just HATE wasting even a drop of this liquid gold!!!

I do like any product that has a pump action purely from the hygiene angle. I mean, think about it, sticking your hand in a pot of gloop, applying it to your face, again and again, day after day. There’s got to be a build-up of bacteria in the pot. Ew!

I used to have oily skin, but diabetes changed that. (Before diabetes, I didn’t even know it brought so many skin problems.) Now, I have dry skin & I’m always looking for something that works! I’d definitely try this.
